The view is really amazing, it‘s close to the ferry to Aswan city center (about 2 min walk) but very tranquil and quiet, there are no cars on Elephantine island. The room is big, newly renovated and very clean. The Host Ahmed is always available for any request and very hospitable. He helps with any tours you could book or anything else you might need during your stay. I can only recommend to stay here!

It was nice to stay in Abu Guest house. On the roof you can find a sunny terrace and some sweet kittens. The room was small, but cozy, with fan and AC. Bathroom with hot water. Abu also changed our room via our favor. The main pier of the island in 5min by feet, but near the house you also can find a small pier.

We had the most wonderful stay at Airkela! The rooms are clean and nicely decorated in Nubian style. You stay on Elephantine island, away from the busy city but so easy to cross. The staff was so helpful and nice. Special thanks to Abdullah for his hospitality and helping us to get around! They offer local tours and can arrange everything you ask for. Would highly recommend!

The woman running the place was very friendly and helpful, and room was very clean (which is not that common in Egypt) and the WiFi was insane (which is not either common in Egypt). The shower was also very good, and it was nice to see the Nile from the balcony. The island was great and the guesthouse was very close to the ferry, which was extremely cheap and went back and forth to Aswan city the whole day. The guesthouse was right beside great restaurants (Jamaica King is great!) and a wonderful bar (Bob Marley can be recommended!). We decided to extend our stay for two more nights! The woman running the place gave us the same price with discount that we got on Booking, washed our clothes extremely cheap (which was amazing for us that's on a longer travel), arranged for us to go on a boat trip in the Nile (which was PERFECT - do this!) and gave us our breakfast on the time of our choosing, and a late check out our last day. There was also free tea/coffee at the place the whole day. We love the colorful island and the people there! The woman running the guesthouse was very eager to make sure we had a good stay. We got very much for the price.

    The hotel was beautiful and modern, located on the quiet Elephante island. It has very clean, light, cool rooms. A great terrace where excellent breakfast is served, as well as lunch or diner if you want. Very hospitable staff, truly wonderful people. They also offer good service with excursions to Abu Simbel, or felucca tours. There are very good restaurants very closeby (King Jamaica, Bob Marley. The food there is worth waiting for 35-60 minutes). This hotel is also a great introduction to the Nubian village.

    The room is very clean and the space in front of the house is big so that we can easily park our car. We had dinner and breakfast at the nearby Nubian Holiday House, which is also Habibi’s. It’s a very lovely place with Nile view, and we played pool and darts for a bit while waiting for our meal. It’s a really surprise for us in this village. Habibi is very nice and warm, checking on us in the evening and morning and make sure everything is fine with us. We enjoyed the stay very much!
