It was a very nice and modern house! We all enjoyed fully of stay there! We had more than we expected! House was very warm and there was also warmed floor, great when the temperatures outside was -24/-29 C! :)

From the moment we arrived at Villa Lapin Kulta, an idyllic retreat on the shores of Lake Inari, we loved everything about it: in particular the stylish interior design, the incredibly comfortable beds, the well-equipped kitchen, the cosiness, the spacious wood-fired sauna and the magnificent VIEW from the huge floor-to-ceiling windows. It was a privilege and a pleasure to spend our long weekend immersed in the pristine natural beauty of the Arctic wilderness. We were lucky enough to view the Northern Lights from the hot tub on the night we arrived and also experienced snowshoeing for the first time, thanks to the (high-quality) winter sports equipment provided. Communication with Niina was excellent, from booking to departure. It really was a perfect and truly memorable stay.

We have had an amazing stay in this beautiful lake-house! Very friendly hosts who have been in close direct contact from the moment we booked until the day after we had left. Helping with booking the most fun excursions within their network and even helping us with our car through the difficult snow conditions. Furthermore, all facilities were new and well-kept. And last, but not least: we loved the amazing views over the lake and due to the location it was a perfect place to watch the northern lights (see picture)!

Everything. The hosts were extremely friendly and courteous. They organized everything for us, helped us with every question and made this trip unforgetable for us. We had a really, really great time. Highly recommended!

Great accommodation in all respects! An incredible quiet and beautiful natural place is located in a secluded corner in the forest on the shore of a swampy lake. Blueberries, mushrooms and a lot of pine trees grow everywhere. I'm thirsty for the local air. Everything in the house is thought out to the smallest detail and everything is very conveniently located. There is a pleasant aroma in the house. I was especially pleased with good wi-fi, a cozy wood-burning stove and a sauna. Also, the owners provide an excellent filter coffee maker and freshly ground aromatic coffee in a brimming jar. All day long, especially in the morning, squirrels and different types of birds came to us, for which there was a treat here. One day a handsome deer came to the house. Hiking trails lead directly from the house to the forest, along which we enjoyed walking for many hours. If you go from the house directly bypassing the swamp, you can climb the hill. Be sure to visit the swamp on foot, it's just a matter of jumping from hummock to hummock, but you need to wear all-terrain shoes. A distance of about two kilometers on the shore of another very large and beautiful lake (but not Lake Inari), the owners have their own rowing boat, which they provide to guests for free, and we took advantage of these with pleasure and devoted one of the evenings to fishing. To get to it, you need to walk through the picturesque forest for about 30 minutes or drive by car in five minutes. The owners take care of the surrounding nature and make separate garbage cans. At first we stayed here for two nights on the way from Norway, but we liked it so much that we extended our stay for another extra day. We really hope to return here one day, for example, in winter. Very friendly guest family and excelellent location Thank you!

Silja & Mathieu have been very kind and helpful in every moment of our stay. The place is amazing and the lodge is so cozy, the lake is few steps from the lodge and we went several times to have fun with our children. From the windows of the house we could see event the aurora! But the best place to see aurora was the lake, no lights to disturb us..it was wonderful! The lodge has everything you need for cooking, even spices! It is surrounded by nature but it is also near Inari's center. We enjoyed a lot our stay, we really recommend this accomodation!
