    A truly wonderful place, in a beautiful and convenient location, with an excellent breakfast, and two hosts who went way above and beyond. The Villa is utterly stunning, the rooms are large, sunny but not hot or stuffy. Tha bathroom was perfect. In fact everything was perfect. Thanks Derek and Jon. We’ll be back!

    Everything the guys go above and beyond to make you welcome and ensure you have everything you need. Very friendly I would totally recommend for a solo traveller. The Villa has been decorated so well with comfy beds and fabulous bathrooms and a great outdoor swimming pool.

    From arriving through a beautiful canopy of trees Villa Paignon exceeded expectations. The house and grounds are beautiful and renovated to an exacting standard. The welcome was warm and Derek and John were attentive and very helpful throughout our stay. The room was spotlessly clean, practical, comfortable and lovely. The availability of a sitting room to relax in, the excellent breakfast and breakfast room all added to our stay. We will for sure return and recommend to others.

    Good location about 2km from the EV3 Scandibérique bike route. Lovely old farmhouse with large, comfortable bedroom and huge shower room. Chris and Tracey were very friendly and welcoming hosts. It was great that they provided beef bourgignon and apple pie for dinner on a Sunday night when the restaurants in Montbron village were closed. Excellent breakfast, more than enough to feed two hungry cyclists. There is a lovely garden and a swimming pool for relaxing in after a hard day's cycling.
