Everything was lovely! From the moment we got there we immediately fell in love with Powdermills B&B. Sue and Johnny are very nice and helpful, they make you feel very comfortable. The room was cozy and I loved the bed! Breakfast was delicious, everything you need and much more! We also loved that our dog got a very warm welcome, too.

Darren and Karen were outstanding hosts! They went above and beyond helping us with an issue we had with the ferry. Breakfast was delicious with a lot of options and locally made jams. The setting is bucolic. Close proximity to the neighboring hotel made it easy for us to get an evening meal. We thoroughly enjoyed our time at The Old Cottage and wish we could have stayed longer.

Melfort Village is set in a lochside location, 24 km from Oban. Furnace is 23 km away. The units include a dining/seating area with a satellite flat-screen TV.

We enjoyed everything, the village, the cottage, the welcome we received from all staff, the nice surroundings, the peace of the place. The cottage is super nice, we felt at home. The area is beautiful, we enjoyed every single minute of our 3 nights stay. The pool is also very nice and it adds to the overall experience, as we didn't find it easy to book a place with a swimming pool. In summer it must be gorgeous too, as there is a tennis court too. We rented the bikes as well, and we loved biking next to the loch. Stay there, you will not be disappointed, if you are looking for a relaxation, far from the crowds, while enjoying full and cozy comfort.

A warm welcome and with the best explanations we could hope for. The owner and his wife received us like princes, magnificent à la carte breakfast, very complete and personalized. Cozy and well decorated room. The view across Loch Fyne Bay was superb. An excellent establishment to recommend without hesitation. THANKS

The location was wonderful, with incredible historic sites in walking distance of the cottage. The cottage was beautifully presented and lovely and clean. It was spacious and very comfortable. The owner was incredibly helpful in suggesting places to visit in the area.
