The family were so kind to us, they prepare delicious food and on our second night even invited us to join them for homemade Khinkali with some friends and other guests. The bar area is super cosy with the log fire, and even though the temperatures were reaching -15 in the night, the bed was comfy and warm. They provide a small heater for the room too which really helps. We really enjoyed our stay here and it's a great location to reach any area of the village on foot.

Our stay was very special here so we spent an extra night in Ushguli! The location is perfect, the vegan dinner and breakfast was tasty and very creative. Rooms and common spaces are feels like home but the biggest benefit is the host lady! She is very a kind person with huge heart. We had nice talks and I felt real and deep connection between us! When we arrived, the two daughters were milking a cow and one of the sons welcomed us in the Guesthouse. The mother made us delicious dinner and breakfast, and the father makes beautiful wooden sculptures. They even helped us arrange a van back to Mestia for a good price. Lovely family in a very authentic and special place!

Great owner and his wife. Stay here more than expect due to the weather conditions in the end of October. Tasty and delicious breakfast and dinner. Owner speak Russian and Georgian, his wife a little English, but it’s no problem to communicate. I know Russian. Location is perfect, not village center. There are 2 cafe/shops nearby but assortment is small so take everything you need from Mestia. The road from Mestia to Ushguli is now super fine and it takes 1 hr 20 min to drive. There is only one rock-falling area about 600 meters.

This is a great place to stay in Zhibiani (the upper village). The location is fantastic and the welcome is amazing. The family is so friendly and the meals are delicious. Frequent offers of tea when you return after a wander are great. I have stayed here previously (twice) and returned because I loved it so much... Thanks David

Very nice place inside the old village of ushguli. The host lady does not speak English but her son and daughter speak English very well. We had both dinner and breakfast (very aboundant), everything was freshly made and good! They also offered a horse tour that you can do by yourself or with the guide. Very recommended

A very pleasant experience. Admittedly, it is more basic accommodation with a shared bathroom, but the friendliness of the hosts, location in beautiful surroundings and excellent food add to the unique feeling. It is also an excellent starting point for wandering around the area, both for visiting the nearby mountains and glacier, as well as for a walk in the village.

The breakfast was very good and delicious, they served fresh food. The location was also perfect, we could visit the whole village easy. And the staff was very helpful and friendly.
