Green House 2 is set in the most beautifully appointed garden space, away from the main road. The garden is wonderfully zoned, so you’ve got shaded outdoor seating areas to sit, eat and read in, as well as space around the raised area near the immaculately maintained pool and an outdoor shower area. Despite that serenity, it is within walking distance of some of the most wonderful places to eat we’ve ever found during travels in Greece. The accommodation at Green House 2 is immaculately presented - impeccable. An open plan space with a master bedroom, centred around a lounge/kitchen/dining area leading on to a further twin bedroom (which we used as a dressing room as there is only the two of us) and the bathroom/toilet. Plentiful storage and hanging space for whatever you’ve brought in your suitcase is available. We were greeted with a fridge full of those holiday essentials - fruit, wine, cheese, bread and eggs and cupboards were stocked with tea, instant coffee and sugar. All you need to get started. Aircon, Wi-fi, a contact grill (?), what more would anybody want? Replacement bedding and plentiful towels were on hand for the duration. All in all, Green House 2 is a perfect retreat for those seeking a home from home to unwind and relax in. AND, when it all gets too much, just throw yourself in the pool for a while then dry off with a book in the late afternoon as the sun goes down.

The hotel is housed in a beautifully restored 1937 building. The original hand-laid cement tile floors have been preserved, giving each room its own unique charm and character. These historic elements blend seamlessly with the modern interior design, which elegantly combines metal and wood. The high ceilings and large windows create a spacious feel and allow for plenty of natural light, adding to the cozy yet sophisticated atmosphere. The service at this hotel is top-notch. The staff is incredibly engaged, attentive, and always ready to offer helpful recommendations about local attractions. The hotel’s location is excellent – just a short walk from the charming streets of the Old Town, the Venetian Harbor, and Chania’s main attractions. The nearby public parking (with good price) is a great convenience. Mosaic Hotel is a perfect blend of historic charm and modern comfort. I highly recommend it to anyone looking to experience authentic Cretan hospitality in a beautifully designed setting.

Nikos is very responsive via text and allowed us an early check-in. Athena is very friendly and graciously provided us with laundry detergent. The suite is incredible, as is the pool. Peace and quiet guaranteed. Free parking is included. Netflix is available on the TV. There is a Koukouvaya cafe a 5-minute walk away with an incredible view. Chania is a 1-hour walk or 10-minute drive away.

Super, never have I experienced such service. The tenants downstairs and myself did not have hot water in the evening and at 7am the water was fixed and I got a compensation on the amount paid. Thank you again, I would have stayed another night if it was possible.

Communication with the host was very easy. Although we never met him in person, it felt like he was always available. We received a code to access the keys, and it worked perfectly. Every small detail was thoughtfully considered, making it feel like a true home away from home. This is probably the first apartment we’ve seen—outside of a beach vacation home—that even included a hanger for swimwear! The thoughtful touches were fantastic, and the location is right in the heart of everything happening in Chania. The only issue we had was with parking, but we discovered that there are walkable, free parking options all around the city. I highly recommend this place!

    We loved the location of the villa. Beach and restaurants on our doorstep. The villa was exceptional - the added services like cleaning , toiletries and welcome fruit and water was an added bonus.

    Awesome place to stay! Villa was modern, clean and spacious. Kitchen and bathrooms were well equipped. Nothing additional was needed. Fruit, water and juice were in the fridge. Pool was great and outdoor area had plenty of seating. Walking distance to groceries, shops, restaurants and the beach. Only 10 minutes to Old town by taxi. Host was very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations. Definitely recommend!
