I have had the best stay. I booked last minute because I was very unhappy with my last accommodation and the location and wanted to be closer to the port with more options. I would recommend checking out their website before booking. George got me an amazing price for a Delux room. I emailed them and they emailed me back immediately. They organised a taxi for me with their cousin Nektarious who is the BEST taxi man I ever had. I was so sad in Emporios and he brought me on a beautiful, scenic drive to my hotel and played my favourite music along the way :) On arrival, I was greeted by the best hotel owner I have ever met. George is absolutely amazing. I was very down and sad about wasting money on another location. He gave me a gin and orange juice (refused payment), a bag of ice for a nice cold bath (it's hot here) candles and a lighter for the bathroom (don't use these in the rooms, too much wood and could cause a fire!) And I relaxed. I was feeling much happier. During my stay he gave me food, drinks and anything I wanted. All with the famous Greek hospitality. The breakfast is the best I've ever seen. George believes in less options but FRESH, homemade desserts, good quality food. This said, there were lots of options! Cinnamon swirls, banana bread, chocolate bread, Greek pastries, apple pie, Nutella buns, bread, cereals, ham, cheese, Greek yoghurt, watermelon etc etc too much to name.... George's family are FABULOUS. I love his father! If he is eating and you walk past, he will try to give you whatever he is eating! I got wonderful fresh watermelon and a slice of pizza another day! He is so friendly and funny. The room is so beautiful and authentic. The hotel is amazing. Traditional, authentic, it's heaven. It was perfectly clean. My room is fabulous. It has beautiful old wallpaper and furniture with long draping curtains overlooking the city and port. It still had that quirky feel about it, like I was staying in a different time... Vintage.

Lia’s home was by far the best Booking stay we’ve ever had! The apartment is even more charming than the photos – central yet quiet, just a 7–8 minute walk from the ferry port and very close to great restaurants, cafes, and bakeries. The balcony and stunning view made it extra special. Parking was easy on the street (though it might be different in high season). We loved the early check-in and the option to leave our luggage at Maria’s shop before and after our stay. Everything was thoughtfully prepared – the little welcome gift and treats in the cupboard were such a lovely touch. Lia is an amazing host, incredibly warm and helpful. The apartment was spotless, perfectly equipped, and we truly loved every bit of it.

Great location with a lot of nice restaurants and stores nearby. But is quiet despite of that, there was no loud noise and was perfect for resting. A nice beach, with small number of people, is 2 minutes away from the apartment. The apartment is great and clean, and we got one free cleaning during our 10 day stay (the cleaning lady was especially nice 🙂). The owner was also great, we had great communication and she organised a taxi transport to and from the airport. And there are a lot of friendly cats, with is plus in my book. 😊

the house was very nice and clean. spacious bedrooms, great terrace with sea view. the kitchen was well equiped for cooking and we even got a grill to have barbecue. Sebasti was a great host, very responsive to the msgs, she even got us fresh eggs from her hens for breakfast! would happily book again

We were upgraded to the luxury suite with the jacuzzi so our comments refer to this apartment. Inauspicious start as there was no one on site ( we had missed a message due to not having a phone signal ). Luckily a neighbour called Eva, the owner and we were soon inside. It was definitely the most spacious and luxurious place we stayed. The apartment has all the usual amenities plus a washing machine and as mentioned a jacuzzi. The kitchenette is very well equipped so full self catering would be possible if desired. The bedroom is on a mezzanine floor with its own aircon and plenty of storage and hanging space for clothes. Large sitting area with a separate aircon plus an equally large terrace with table and chairs, deck chairs and hanging chairs. En suite was good with the shower in a cubicle with both an overhead and hand held shower option. On arrival we were welcomed with a nice bottle of wine and a range of provisions in the fridge and cupboard. There was even decaffeinated coffee. We didn't bother hiring a car but it is a ten minute walk from the hospital bus stop or a 5 euros taxi ride from the port. Space for parking if you choose to hire a car. Although we didn't meet the owner Eva is in close contact via phone messages.

Lovely place run by a lovely family, with adorable cats. The place is so original and different to anything I've seen before. Loved every little detail, you can tell Aikaterini has put a lot of care in making this a special place. Beds were comfortable, the terrace (and the bed, really) is just a few steps from the sea so you can sit and relax and go for a swim. It's so peaceful and beautiful. The hosts were so incredibly warm in their welcome and so helpful. I'd definitely go back and stay for longer. Unfortunately this time we only stayed for one night.

Really warm welcome by the Captain and his wife, introducing the property.. The house was very clean and comfortable and had everything we needed for our stay. Outdoor space on 3 sides was useful in the sun and wind. Easy(5 minute) walk to heart of Emborios with lovely bay, tavernas, fresh bread and mini-market. Great property in a nice location - we very much enjoyed our stay

    Firstly the location of property is excellent, the villa is in a lovely setting with the apartments around the pool. Accommodation was big and very roomy, the pool again big and well kept. Staff are lovely and very helpful, there is plenty to choose from for breakfast.

    We loved our stay at Villa Melina! The pool, breakfast, room and people were perfect. The family who run the villa are very helpful, hospitable and professional. It was one of our favourite stays through the whole of Europe. Relaxing beautiful place. We enjoyed it a lot and I will recommend to family and friends.

    Everything... the location, the villa, the garden, the facilities in the villa. The view from the covered terrace and from the garden directly to the beach, sea and mountains beyond is unbeatable. The villa is really spacious and well equipped. Great tavernas just a stone's throw away. Perfect.

    Lovely stay at Melina Villa. Given a choice of room, I chose the top floor overlooking the port and pool. Set away from the bustle of the port in a quiet neighbourhood, Melina is a comfortable family run hotel with a nice pool with friendly duck ! Good choice of breakfast, including cheese, cold meats, bread, cereals and cakes etc. I hired a scooter (From Limani), it was easy to navigate to and park near the hotel

    Makis and Jana were amazing hosts..very friendly and approachable… A midnight arrival was no problem, Makis was waiting for us and helped w the suitcase.. The Apartment is brand New, Bed is Comfortable , kitchen fully stocked and includes a Brand New Washing Machine… The Apartment is located directly above the Beach, beautiful Sunsets w amazing views.. More quiet village setting and u will need a car to stay there…
