The house is very nice and host is very friendly and helpful. He pays attention to every detail in the house, what makes us feel like at home. The nice bonus is the fireplace so that make the house is much more cosy. Highly recommend if you plan to go to Monemvasia!

Loved the location- we parked 400m outside the town gate and walked in 50 m inside the gate following the YouTube instructions. Easy! The house is spacious with three levels. Level one you walk into off the path and is a huge double bedroom and sofa sitting area. You must pass through this room to get to the lower levels stairs. It wasn’t a privacy issue for us though as the other person had their room on level two and then they only went down to kitchen/bathroom at night. Level two is one double bedroom with door. Level three down the bottom is a large lounge area with more sofa beds and a kitchen table. The kitchen is off this and then the small bathroom is off the kitchen. There is also a door to get outside to a lower path on the bottom floor. The views out the windows are lovely, rooftops and bougainvillea. Two minutes walk to cafes shops and restaurants. We were there in the rain and you must have good footwear for the rocky pathways and stairs that are all over the island. We were left water, juice, croissants , tea coffee and some condiments.

We were very happy with our apartment which is situated a few meters and a few stairs away from the Monemvasia main gate (please note that you have to carry your suitcases or backpacks because of the cobble stones). The apartment is nicely furnished, offers a great view on the ocean from the windows (+ from the bed :)) and also has amenities like a coffee machine & coffee tabs. The owners have a store downstairs where you can get the keys and buy their local products like olive oil, wine or skin care. We had some problems with noise from the opposite bar one night because they tend to play loud music on Saturdays and the hosts did all they can to make up for it, even though it was not their fault and we really appreciated it. In terms of hospitality, these were one of the nicest hosts we have met so far.

The decor of the apartment was excellent - a great mxture of modern and authentic and it had a great terrace with a view over the roofs to the sea from the spacious upstairs. The owner is lovely - very friendly and helpful. Although its not too far from the gate its down a fair few stairs so we used a porter to carry our luggage

The entire staff is simply amazing. Katerina and her husband and the woman at breakfast (unfortunately I didn't remember her name) were always kind and answered all our questions. Breakfasts are very rich and tasty, most of the products are homemade. We had a room 202 with a view of the sea and the pool, spacious and with everything you need. There is a mini market within a 2 minute walk, the beach is also very close, 2 minutes with the car and maybe about 10 minutes walk by foot. It is only a 10 minute drive to Monemvasia. We only came for two days, but everything was amazing, we would like to stay longer !

One of the most beautiful places that we have booked. The hosts were very attentive when needed and ensured we had everything we needed and more. We were so happy to find that they had some food and drinks, coffee all awaiting us after a long trip. All the place was very clean and beds were comfortable; well air-conditioned; the view is second to none.

This apartment was very comfortable, great living spaces and a huge kitchen area. We loved sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine in the afternoon. Our host provided home made olive oil and a bottle of wine on arrival. This was a lovely touch. Parking was provided just outside the apartment. It was a short drive to the Castle and the town with restaurants, we could have walked it was around a 15 minute walk. The beach was also very close with easy parking everywhere.

    It is all about the location.You have nearby places to go, we went to Monemvasia, Elafonisos,Dylos caves....The road trip to these locations is superbe...Remember don't go to eat at Monemvasia only because it is turist place...I Greece it doesn't work like that.The food in small villages is better and all the products are own grown and fresh

    Very nice room on the main street of the village, it was clean and comfortable and easy to reach from the entrance gate. Very nice view. A tip: the door of the house is not marked, we were provided the keys by the personnel of the ice cream shop downstairs.

    Beautiful little house with everything you need and more. The host is wonderful. The kind of place you wish you didn’t have to leave and do clean and cared for. Right in the middle of a small mountainside village, so calm and peaceful. The views are amazing, one minute walk to a great taverna.

    Amazing accommodation, super clean and spacious, equipped with everything you could want, including very comfortable beds. The parking is on the street, right in front of the villa, and the terraces are simply a dream. We especially appreciated the generosity and kindness of the host.
