The terrace is extra special for star gazing and the home has everything you need - from a great grill to a fully appointed kitchen. This place exceeded my expectations. The house is big, crystal clean (Im very picky on cleanliness), has everything you need for a lovely stay. Everything that has to be renovated is renovated and the whole house is in very good condition - it is visble that it is taken good care of! All the rooms have air conditioning, the bathrooms are clean and tidy, you get towels. Beds are also comfortable. The kitchen has EVERYTHING you need - even packing foil, very nice cooking pots, wooden spoons, even cheese grinder... and so much more -and everything is in a very good condition. They have toaster, coffee machine, microwave oven, kettle, the fridge is big, has a freezer as well. The only thing that we missed a bit is that there is a huge, and lovely and spacious terrace but it doesnt have a seaview. It is connected to a lovely "secret" garden, full of flowers and butterflies. Related to the location: across the street there is the sea, where you can go and swim but this is typically not a beach where you spend a whole day. However, the sandy beach is like 3-4 mins of walking, and just there you also find the supermarket, a very nice restaurant (it has green shading, so we just called it "The Green" :D, and the food is good), and if you walk a bit more, there are many other beaches - sandy, rocky, pebble, you find everything you need. I also saw very nice fish in the water. The town is also lovely - we met very friendly local people, everyone spoke English, and it is visible that they have strong local connections. We also tried the bus - we went to Korcula with the Arriva bus, and it was a great adventure (we chose the one that left at 17:20, stops next to Konzum), and came back during the night with taxi from the port/bus central station in Korcula. For 6 of us the taxi was 20, the bus (one way) was 17 EUR. Overall, we loved to stay here and we aim to get back again - and can't wait :)

a large apartment with a homely atmosphere. A very nice host, whom we immediately liked. Great large balcony with a beautiful view. Comfortable bed. Comfortable shower - covered with a curtain, but since the shower is very large, the curtain is not a problem (it does not stick to the body). There is a convenient shelf for cosmetics in the shower. A large number of kitchen utensils - good quality pots, etc The apartment is equipped with a brush + dustpan, mop... Quiet area, the house is located on a small street, second line from the sea. Access to the sea takes 1 minute (a very pleasant promenade for walking or lying on the stones and swimming) Parking on the street in front of the house, in the season it can be tight, but there is always a place nearby. 10-15 minutes walk to the center of Lumbarda The bedroom window overlooks the neighbors' house nearby, but there are curtains and blinds to protect privacy. The window in the bathroom overlooks the internal courtyard and, for comfort of use, usually requires covering with blinds. The fridge is large but does not have a freezer, in the case of products that require freezing, we placed them on the side of the fridge wall and set the fridge to cool more (it was effective) Air conditioning is installed in the living room connected to the kitchen, there is no separate air conditioner in the bedroom. Overall, a very nice place, homely, in a good location, nice and friendly host (communication in French or through a translator)
