Hillside Bali is truly a hidden gem. If you are tired of busy south coast head to the North and experience some real Bali. Mario and his wife were one of the modest and kind people we met on our travels and I really wish everyone to experience their endless hospitality. The two villas are brand new and offering everything you need. Bed and linen are 5* hotel quality and everything is crystal clear. We felt really welcomed and honestly happy we could support some local owners. Mario can organize a guide to Mt. Batur, motorbike rental or cheaper tickets to the hot springs.

The property is amazing, located up on the hill you can admire the view of the lake, mount Abang and Batur from one place when you walk outside of the cottage. The cottages are impeccable, everything is new, clean and well maintained. The staff is very kind and positive it was a pleasure to be there and chat with the family. They serve nice breakfasts and have a good Warung just behind reception plus the WiFi is good so highly recommended for people who work. The top of Mount Batur is also just 5k from the property and they can book you a guide. One of the best places I’ve had the pleasure to stay in while in Bali, I will definitely return!

we had one night stay here in Kasmi Mount Batur. The views from here is spectacular. Staff was very nice and friendly. They arranged taxis and tours from the place. Specially the hiking tour arranged by Kadek. Price was very good.

Best views we have had in Asia. Fantastic place if you want to go camping but don’t have any of the gear! This was the comfiest mattress and duvet we have had during our whole trip! The staff here are so helpful. They kindly lit our fire for us in the evening, cooked dinner, made coffee and beautiful breakfast overlooking the most stunning views of Mt Batur. Toilets were impeccably clean - so much cleaner than some indoor places we have stayed! Lovely warm shower. Highly recommend as a break from hostels and hotels - absolutely great experience!

Local, family run establishment, which in itself got my attention. The location is splendid! The road to the property is quite hard but the driver will have no problem getting here and once you do, you will enjoy peacefulness and wonderful views of the lake and the mountains. The houses are the cutest! clean and very comfortable. Everything you need is here. The host, Kadek, is very friendly and helpful. If there is anything you need, just ask and he will organise it. The property offers massage (really good ones) and tours. I was also offered lift to the Temple and Hot Springs - courtesy of Kadek, which helped me very much! I was also offered homemade traditional kintamani dinner, which was absolutely delicious. If ever back in Kintamani, I will definitely return to Batur Cozy Bali.

    This property listed in the web using 2names. Googlemap works well showed direction to Villa Dangka. Modern room with kettle, tea and some selection of coffee. No AC but mounted fan is provided.Bathroom is clean. Pool with natural hot spring was such a  bless after sunrise trekking to Batur volcano. The terrace is spacious with 3 big chairs, but can't sit too long coz of too many flies.
