We loved the family who runs it. Adila and Putu are great hosts and made our stay extra special. They had a good knowledge of the surroundings,showed us how to get to the waterfalls and teach us how to cook some amazing local dishes! We highly recommend taking the cooking class with Adila, she was super professional and our dishes were exquisite! We can't wait to cook them back home :). Definitely recommend xxx thank you to Adila and all the family for their hospitality ;*

I cannot overstate how wonderful this resort was! The photos you see here are exactly how it looks like in reality, with stunning mountain views, occasional misty weather, and, depending on the room you book, an infinity pool in your own villa. I personally spent hours just relaxing in the pool and watching the hues of the sky change. The staff have also been unbelievably helpful and the restaurant is absolutely top-notch. It simply was the best resort I've ever been to.

The place is really nice and it is a mix of local and modern settlement. We enjoyed listening to the sounds of nature and relaxing on the large terrace next to our igloo. The settlement is 100-150 m from the main road and the walking path is next to a small river. The view is really amazing. The owner was extremely kind and helpful with all we needed. The food was delicious and really cheap. Also he carried our luggage on his motor bike from the main road. 🙏

Staying at Desa Eko is a true immersion into nature. The spacious tents and bungalows blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape. Everything was clean, cozy, and very comfortable. The tent offers an incredible view of the tropical forest, enhancing the sense of seclusion and tranquility. The food at Desa Eko impressed me with its freshness and taste. The menu includes both local dishes and vegetarian options, which I particularly appreciated. Breakfast was especially delightful — fresh fruits and local delicacies were served with care. The Desa Eko team was incredibly friendly and attentive. Every staff member went out of their way to make our stay as comfortable as possible. All issues were resolved promptly, and the staff's recommendations made our trip even more enriching. This place is perfect for those seeking peace and harmony with nature. I will definitely return here again!

We had a wonderful experience at this place. The staff was extremely friendly, and the villa was delightful. The rooms were spacious and beautifully appointed. The food was delicious, and it was evident that the place was run by a warm and welcoming family. We appreciated the personal touch and felt a genuine connection with the staff. Wow, wow, wow! I am still speechless how gentle and kind Ketut, the owner, was. He is so positive and smiling and made my stay to a really wonderful stay. The accommodation was extremely clean, bright and spacious. The view is amazing from the balcony. The food was delicious and Ketut always checked if I needed something and cooked a great fresh ginger tea for me. I am a solo traveller and really wanted to see the waterfalls and the area around Munduk. I asked Ketut if I can book him as a driver. He took me patiently to every single place I wanted to go to. He even gave me more ideas and showed me a really nice rice field. We started the day yesterday morning at 5:45am to see the stunning sunrise at the Viewpoint Twin Lakes. Absolutely worth it! Ask for it. Afterwards Ketut made me breakfast and we went to see an amazing temple, drop me off to do a jungle trekking and canoeing. Then he drove me to the Banyumala Waterfall, lunch at Munduk village, rice fields and finally to the Munduk waterfall. It was such a magical day. If you want to have a special and personal experience in this beautiful area, ask Ketut to be your driver. I highly recommend this accommodation and stay a Ketut’s place.
