Birchdale House was excellent! The location was wonderful, with everything close by, and the house had all the amenities we could possibly need. It was comfortable, welcoming, and the perfect place to relax during our stay

We loved the location--overlooking the meeting of two rivers, extremely beautiful, with the sounds of rushing water lulling us. The nearby road is busy during the day, but quiets down after 5, Our hosts were kind and eager to please. They made breakfast specially for Susanne who has digestive issues. There is also an outdoor patio overlooking the water, and an indoor common room with laundry facilities and (I think I remember this) a microwave. Everyone is welcome to use these. It's just an awesome place!

A perfect, little room which had everything I needed to spend a night there before walking The Wicklow Way. The contactless check-in and out worked flawlessly. There’s a little supermarket up the street, a couple of take aways and pub to cater to your food and drinks needs
