Wow, Elizabeth, you have a gem of a property located close to town with lovely surrounding countryside. We arrived extremely late at night and you were there to welcome us, as tired as we were, we could not have asked for a better welcome. We had a wonderful room with all amenities and bathroom needs waiting for us. A wonderful night's sleep was had on a very comfortable bed. On our two days stay Elizabeth prepared a very personal breakfast for us each morning that was to die for. We left well fed for the day. With nice grounds to sit out in the sunshine or the guests personal reading room, adequate on-site parking. We wished we could have stopped longer but we had to head off to a certain Golf tournament that was being held at Royal Portrush. We look forward to returning at the first opportunity. I fell ill and the owners really looked after me.😅 They arranged medical care. They could not have been better. The facilities were excellent. The breakfast was adaptable from a full Irish to a glass of water. I would have no hesitation in recommending the Meadows again. I had a good sized double room on the ground floor just off the entrance hall. It had an elevated outlook over trees and fields, yet was a short walk into the centre of the town.

John fabulous host. Bed extra comfy had the best nite sleep. John even offered to run us to the wedding we were attending, just that wee extra touch.

Breakfast was outstanding with lots of variety. Theresa was very accommodating and picked us up by car and shuttled us back and forth to Monaghan where we had scheduled a plant visit at CombiLift. We had a delightful time with her and the owner of the home where she is running the B&B. The view from our window overlooked the lake and we were overwhelmed by the beautiful landscape. We would highly recommend staying at this location if someone is looking for a unique experience. Nothing like Irish hospitality.
