We loved our stay with Nick and Sandra so much! The description says just a room but what we found was a spacious two bedroom apartment with breakfast! Thank you for the treats and warm welcome! We felt like staying with friends! We sure will come back next time when we are in Ireland. Very quiet, superb apartment close to many sights with great hosts.

Nice place. Very clean and well kept. Simple but lovely breakfast provided in our room. Walking distance to a couple of interesting sites and a short drive to some major archeological and historical sites. Donel is a marvelous host and we had a couple lovely chats with him. We would absolutely stay here again.

The house was spacious, clean and beautifuly decorated, the keepers were very helpful with a couple of issues and we had everything we needed on site. Groceries shop was a short walk away and really lovely local pub nearby. They also were able to accommodate a slightly earlier checking which was helpful after a very early flight! It was lovely to stay in such a lovely location with friends and I look forward to coming back and would recommend the place for any group looking to stay in the area

Huge rooms and quiet location, I love the adjoining bar which is always decorated with a few local characters. I have stayed here a few times now and I love the location and the staff.

Michael is a fabulous host. It honestly felt like we were visiting an old friend. From the moment we arrived and he greated us by name, we knew we’d been expected and we felt welcome. Our room was lovely and the electric blanket was a lovely addition. Blinds down, shutters closed we were snug in our bed for the 3 nights we stayed. The house is beautiful and full of lovingly chosen and placed antiques, including a grand piano. The gardens are gorgeous too. Breakfast was a wonderful social occasion. All the house guests gather round the huge mahogany table that is laid with matching bone china and silverware. An exceptional continental and full Irish breakfast is freshly cooked and served by Michael and the housekeeper. Michael introduces each guest and breakfast becomes a lazy affair as strangers exchange plans and stories of their travels in Ireland. A true Irish experience. We also found Michael to be super helpful from helping with luggage, restaurant recommendations to sorting an airport taxi and bus to Slane. Wholly recommend Collon House.

Great little tiny house with a double bed and large comfy bunk bed. Clean and charming interior. There's also a large wooden deck outside with tables and chairs which was lovely to spend time on in the late sunny evenings. A Lovely sheepdog was also running around outside on the very quaint farm grounds. Peter was extremely kind and helpful, always there if you need him. He's very funny and has a good, positive energy. Thanks for your generosity Peter!

Self check-in process was very easy and convenient as we weren't completely sure what time we would arrive. Davie the dog was lovely, he would happily run around playing fetch all day, kept us all entertained. Milk and orange juice were left in the fridge for us, and a jar of sweets on the counter which our daughter was delighted about.

it was new and homely, very comfortable and spacious, the facility is absolutely unreal, and old farm house that used to be an award winning resturaunt. clean and modern, a perfect place to stay, i will always book this place on my return
