Aakash and his family were very helpful and kind during our stay. There was nothing that we needed that we didn’t have or couldn’t have help with trying to find. Delicious home cooked breakfast, filtered water (we were relieved to have a few days of not needing to buy plastic bottles) and helpful guidance for the surrounding area!

Mayflower is the best homestay we have stayed in throughout all our trip in Kerala! Definitely the cleanest one, beautiful house with great vibes! Our hostess Suzan is incredible!! Helped us book tuk tuks and told us a few places to visit in our short stay. And her cooking just chef's kiss! Best breakfast we had with traditional Kerala dishes, fresh organic fruits and great coffee!

What an incredible experience has been my cruise around the Alleppey backwaters. Jose's boat is just marvelous. It has a nice bedroom, a kitchen with a cook and nice resting area in front where you can enjoy the wonderful sightseeing. Since the dimensions of boat allows it, you are able to see all the small canals that you cannot reach with a big boat, and have a glimpse to the countryside directly facing the canal's waters. Passing the night in the quiet of the lake, with the sun setting over the waters, is the icing on the cake. So much recommended. Don't miss the opportunity for a cruise with Jose.

Our experience at Sunsets and Palm Trees was nothing short of incredible. The accommodations are absolutely stunning, nestled right by the serene Backwaters, offering breathtaking views that make you feel like you’ve stepped into a dream. However, what made our stay truly exceptional was the unparalleled hospitality of our host, David. From the moment we arrived, he went above and beyond to make sure everything was perfect. He was incredibly friendly, always available, and did everything possible to ensure we had the best experience. Even when we needed a last-minute additional booking, he made it happen effortlessly. The food was delicious, and every meal was prepared with so much care and attention to detail. The warmth and generosity we experienced at Sunsets and Palm Trees made us feel completely at home. This is not just a place we will return to again and again – we truly feel like we have found a place that feels like home and a connection that will stay with us. Thank you, David, for everything! This place is just like home. This is because the family are so friendly. Jiji and Miriam, and the two girls Anita and Alina are so lovely 😍 . This was the first homestay we ever stayed in Kerala and it is definitely on our list to come back. It was an absolute pleasure. Jiji man, we love you.     Tharas houseboat is very unique and traditional enriched with cleanliness , the staff were very helpful. The food was amazing we could try authentic kerala style food they served lunch on plantine leaf that was delicious, especially their pearlspot fry decorated with onion , carrot , lemon was suberb , we have seen backwater village area . When you come in Kerala you should take this place you will be definitely happy .

    We had a very good stay at Mayflower villa. The family room was spacious. Cleanliness was top notch. The host, Susan was extremely caring and guided us well for sightseeing and also took special care of our kids meals. We had our meals there and they were yummy authentic Kerala dishes. Definitely recommend staying at Mayflower Villa.

    Very good for us. Their village canoe cruise was amazing. Chilling on the backwaters under the moonlight, and dinner was great also. Everyone should do this tour. Johnson sir is an excellent host. Amazing garden in the host premises as well.
