The most obvious advantage - as close as possible to all the attractions. Best accommodation in India! I have to tell you separately about the room and the host. First the room: It's no exaggeration to say that this is the best accommodation we've ever had in India. The room is as comfortable as it can be. Every little detail is considered. - The air conditioner works. - There is a solar fan in the room. - There is a water cooler (hot and cold). - Huge bed - Even two wardrobes with shelves and books - Two tables with chairs and one chair. - Great Wi-Fi. On the way to the bathroom there is an intermediate room with a closet and safe and even a ceiling fan. The bathroom and toilet are also very comfortable, with a ceiling fan and exhaust. We also had soap, shower gel and shampoo, and of course a towel. A huge supply of toilet paper. Now about Prakhar, the owner of the room. Prakhar is the most amazing Hindu we have ever met. Prakhar was very attentive, polite and completely unobtrusive. He met us on the street in the evening as we were walking from the subway. It was very appropriate since there is no sign outside for a guest house. If we needed anything, we texted our request to Prakhar on Watsapp and he responded immediately. Prakhar seemed genuinely interested in our comfort. Most surprisingly, when we checked out, Prakhar gave us a substantial amount of money as compensation for the minor inconvenience of the water break. I offered to take only half of the compensation, but Prakhar did not agree, so I went back to give him all the money, but he assured me that everything was fine! In the following days we needed the money very much and we are grateful to Prakhar that everything turned out this way. Thank you so much Prakhar! You are the most amazing person in India!)

Doongri House is a small family run guest house with 7 rooms, all opening up onto a stunning roof top terrace in the middle of the old city, Jaipur. The family are the kindest, most loveliest of people with the biggest hearts. When you stay here, you are made to feel so welcome, you really don’t want to stay anywhere else. We stayed for 4 nights, our room was so spacious, lovely and clean with also a small heater provided, just to take the chill off with the cooler evenings. So welcome. We also enjoyed breakfast on the sunny rooftop terrace, delicious scrambled eggs, toast and coffee. They have a nice selection of foods you can order and enjoy whilst you are there. It’s such a nice place to sit and relax, away from the busy streets below. It was also the kite festival whilst we were there and the family kindly invited us to stay ( even though we were checking out that day) to watch the festival from their rooftop. Wow, what a spectacular event that was. Thank you so much Doongri House for your kindness and hospitality, you made our stay in Jaipur so memorable and special. We wish you all the best!

I had a wonderful stay at Cocoon Auberge Guest House. The atmosphere was peaceful and relaxing, making it the perfect place to unwind. The staff were great—always friendly and attentive. The host was especially helpful, providing excellent suggestions for places to visit and shop, which really made my trip more enjoyable. I would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and welcoming place to stay.

We had an amazing experience! The rooms are big and clean with all the amenities of a 5 star hotel, amazing shower! stuff is polite and very helpful. What didn't we like? Everything was great at Dera. It was very silent, the staff was super attentive, the rooms are very clean. The staff suggested a great driver to drive us around Jaipur for a full day and a fair price. 10/10, would stay here again!

The coziness of the place, the very warm welcome they offered (at 6am in the morning), the hilarious, problem-solver, awesome host, his lovely family, the meals we shared with other travellers, the vibes, the comforts, the whole feeling of staying in Home of the World REALLY made the difference and elevated our stay in Jaipur. This homestay has something more to provide than its comfortable, spacious and clean rooms accompanied with delicious home made breakfast, all located in a calm neighborhood right outside of the bustling pink city. We cannot recommend it more! Friendly advice: Do participate in any of the tours the host might organize. We saw Jaipur through a local, authentic glance, plus we came closer with other travellers, all contributing in some of the best moments we had in India. Danyavat, Shubham.

    We were 4 girls travelling alone and the first thing we were concerned about was safety and good location that feels safe. people here were really good made us feel very safe. It was very clean, staff was helpful as well. They took care of things. Will surely recommend it for girls travelling solo or in group, also it's good for family as well. Great place to live when you are in jaipur, it's value for money. Will strongly recommend Ashok villa.
