Mahizh Home is a two storey villa with two bedrooms and a shared living area on each of the floors. The ground floor was all ours for the 24 hours we stayed over. The place is airy and comfortable, with marble floors suited to the environment. But what made our short stay special is the 5 stars service delivered by Mani, the caretaker of the property. This is a cream of a person who has been really helpful in all aspects of our stay (providing accurate advance information (easy to join on WhatsApp), sending a taxi in the wee hours of the morning at the Railway station to pick us up, ordering food (dinner and breakfast and delivering it), allowing for early check-in and late check-out. Not very often in almost 50 years of travels, we have met such a kind and dedicated person. Whenever you travel to Mahabilipuram consider Mahizh Home first. Note that this villa would be ideal for friends / family groups of up to four couples.

I didn’t have breakfast or food at Vinodhara as I met a friend at another hotel and we ate in various other places in Mahabalipuram. The staff were really friendly and helpful and accommodating. There were no issues with booking the taxi at 3am to Chennai airport, everything ran smoothly. This was a pleasant experience of home stay. A quiet family home, the landlord and staff are friendly. Within a short distance there is a south Indian restaurant A2B and the beach is also very near from home (5 min walk). I certainly recommend this homestay for all families
