Our hosts were really welcoming and kind. They booked a restaurant for us in the a village about ten kms away as nothing was open in Barbaresco and it was a brilliant place with excellent food and wine. We were also able to rent an electric bike to tour the magnificent countryside in the area. The apartment was clean and well-maintained, which I appreciated. The highlight was the friendly and accommodating host who ensured I had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. He recommend very good spots to eat in all the villages in the neighterboard and hosted a nice wine tasting. Additionally, the view was amazing, and the pool was a good spot to relax on sunny days. When we arrived we were greeted by the staff and made to feel very welcome. Parking was easy, right up front. Our room had a great view of the river below Casa Boffa and the hills in the distance. We sat on the terrace and enjoyed wine made at Casa Boffa, as well as meat and cheese provided by our host. Excellent base from which to walk around the village, or take a drive in the countryside!
