All you need for breakfast is provided and filled up every day by our lovely host Claudia. La Torre is perfect starting point for hiking and sightseeing in the fantastic nature around. For the first time in my life, I stayed in such an ancient house that had been fully renovated, yet you could still feel the old spirit in it, and it was fascinating. We had everything we needed to sleep one night, a fully arranged kitchen, all the vessels and pots. The bathroom, although small, had soap and shower gel in it. Everything looked very neat. The entrance to the house and all surroundings are splendid. If you come with a car, it's better to park it at the entrance to the town, because only very small cars can park close to the apartment (still, it's possible). Asia, a very friendly host, brought us additional pellets for a heating stove, if we needed to heat during the night.

Perfect location in a convenient and (mostly - see below) quiet part of town. An easy and pleasant walk to Penne's historical center. The room was very comfortable, offering a wonderful terrace to relax outside when the weather allows. The self-serve breakfast offerings were simple but suitable, and we were also offered savory items (bread, cheeses and salami meats) instead of simply dolce (sweet) treats. The kitchen was ideal for preparing/heating up leftovers or take-out in the evenings. Very nice bathroom facilities as well. Very clean, well maintained, and efficiently operated B&B. Highly recommended.

    We had a great short stay in the beautiful village..we could walk to local cafes & restaurants & easily reach Gran Sasso & the castle. We came for cooler temperatures & and hiking. It was perfect for us as a base. We slept so well in coll temperatures with no mosquitos Clean comfortable place with helpful, friendly staff.
