Unbelievable views, cozy house, incredibly warm welcome from Roberto, rooms are great and clean and have nice commodities. Highly recommend the breakfast, also offered extra is a tour on wine and oil with tasting which we enjoyed. Only regret is not staying longer! Looking forward to coming back, especially on a slightly warmer day to enjoy the outdoors pool. We have driven 4 days in Chianti and Montalcino (Tuscany) and this location offered the absolutely best views, incredible landscape!

I loved everything about Il Tigliolo, from the beautiful, fully equipped apartment, to the carefully tended gardens and wonderful variety of plants. Sitting on my deck with a coffee and the swallows darting around in the morning was a dream. It was very quiet, peaceful, and restorative, perhaps in part because it is deep in the countryside. The host was very kind and welcoming, and knows every good restaurant around (if you don't want to cook),and he is also very well acquainted with all of the exceptional wineries in the area. The views across the olive groves and along the valley are truly unforgettable, and while Il tigliolo is certainly off the beaten track it is still a quick and easy drive to many interesting places, such as Pienza, Bagno Vignoni, and the entire Val d'Orcia. The bed was very comfortable, and the villa was really quite large. There is a gorgeous swimming pool, and everything you'd need to self cater. A real hidden gem.

The best B&B experience of my life. We are a family of four and had planned to experience Tuscan culture. We arrived late, around 9 PM, and it took us a little while to find the house. The host was waiting patiently for us and warmly welcomed us into their lovely home. But what truly touched us was that her mother, a sweet elderly lady, also waited for us and even baked a delicious cake. I felt so guilty for making them wait until 9:30 PM. The house itself was fabulous — beautifully decorated with antique furniture that felt like stepping into a castle. There was even a pleasant scent in the washrooms that I normally wouldn’t notice, but this time I really appreciated it. The host gave us a lovely tour of the house and explained the meaning behind “Sunsino,” which reflects the deep love and joy of their family. Finally, I have to say, the food in Tuscany is one of the best in the world (second only to my hometown!). The next morning, I happily filled my bottles with tap water and even asked if I could take the rest of the cake with us! This was a truly unforgettable experience. I would absolutely recommend this B&B to anyone. Thank you so much!

The old village itself is beautiful - on the top of the hill, the houses are restored in old style with taste. Even with a larger car it was (not the easiest) but possible to park. Marta is a really nice host. Bathroom and room were big, bed was comfortable. Downstairs is a restaurant, serving breakfast and great teasty meals with normal prices. The chef was so nice he even prepared gluten - free dish from our own pasta. Welcoming, cordial and memorable.

    This was the most authentic hotel out of the seven other hotels we stayed in during our trip to Tuscany. If you want to feel the atmosphere of a Tuscan village, this is it.
