A great reception by the host, he was very friendly and helpful. The room is clean and comfortable and I was a short walk away from the ferry and the lungomare. I arrived late and left early, so the self service breakfast option was ideal for me. The experience was so good for me, that I'd like to come back to visit Milazzo on its own instead of just passing by to take the ferry.

Location and Pino! We booked triple room with balcony, but every triple rooms don't have balcony (booking says that every triple room have). Pino found solution and gave us 2 double rooms with balcony, so grazie mille!

This property exceeded our expectations and we wished we could have stayed here for longer. It's such great value for money. We forgot to let Gabriele know what time we were arriving so he took a few mins to come down to the property to show us around. By the time Gabriele arrived, one of his neighbours stopped by and picked fresh fruit from the garden for us to eat whilst we waited. They provide a lot of free food and drinks at the property, like an amazing mini bar but completely free. The outdoor space and the view are amazing. It's a really quiet mountainous area. They recommended a nearby restaurant called Trattoria Sottocastello and although it looked really basic, it was the best food we've had on Sicily yet. Parking is really easy, opposite the property on a really quiet street. There's a balcony and an outdoor sitting area. There's a pizza oven and a BBQ in the garden, a lime tree, plus grapes and prickly pears growing around the garden. Overall, it was amazing value for money, in a beautiful, remote and peaceful location with a very generous host (Gabriele doesn't live there, you have the entire property to yourselves). If you stayed in a town or city you'd probably pay €40 more for somewhere worse.
