It was close to the heart of the village, and also a short walk down some very interesting and safe laneways, past ripe figs, to the local beach (Spiaggia dello Scario (you have to visit!). Perfectly located behind San Lorenzo’s church and a stone throw from the bus stop. A very cosy and home like apartment. Matteo and his mum Lucia are very friendly and warm people, always keen to help and never losing their smile! Bonus for us was the orchestra playing in the villa opposite us. Malfa is the perfect place to stay in Salina, right in the epicentre and close to everything. The view from the terrace is absolutely spectacular! Gracias! It’s beautiful, pristine, perfect location, warm, friendly genuine hosts. From the room, terrace and garden to the amenities ( high quality bath products and teas) you would never know that you are a few steps from the Main Street. It’s so quiet and peaceful.
