The apartment is very well renovated and modernly furnished. It is very centrally located, and the sights are only a few minutes away on foot. From the apartment you have a great view over Mantova and directly onto the large cathedral. Access to the apartment is easy and simple via mobile phone. Communication is easy and the owner Litizia has always responded promptly. We left our daughter's cuddly toy in the apartment and Litizia sent it to Germany.

Beautiful remodeled old building, fully functional, close to Mantova historical center. It was like being lodged in an ancient location, but with all commodities of the present, we really enjoyed it. Chiara gave us all the hints of the place , including parking in the streets around the B&B. We had no difficulties to find a spot.

It’s a breathtakingly-looking and very comfortable apartment for two. Loved the equilibrium between the marvellously frescoed walls and the design furniture of the room, as well as a very nice modern kitchen and bathroom. Really a beautiful Palazzo as described, but better, because it is also a home. Luciana and Claudio were such gracious and helpful hosts, and you felt so looked after. The residence is full of history, huge elegant public rooms, more intimate bedrooms, with brand new bathrooms. The breakfast really is superb, fresh fruit, special cereals etc, and the most wonderful selection of cakes (mostly made by Luciana) and pastries. As noted by others, there are stairs, but your bag is deftly carried up by Claudio.... the whole experience of Mantua was heightened by staying here. Very well located too.

This hotel only has 6 guest rooms open to the public, the rest are for the exclusive use of the palace owner. The hotel is conveniently located next to the central square, surrounded by famous historical landmarks. The hotel rooms are very spacious and tall, with clean and comfortable beds. The breakfast restaurant is located on the square, serving a typical Italian breakfast with Cappuccino and Corinne. Although it's a bit simple, enjoying an Italian style breakfast in the sunshine is also very pleasant and enjoyable. Butler part-time waiter and boss part-time waiter are both very friendly and hospitable.

Perfect location. Excellent accommodation. Great food. The host, Dannj was so helpful, especially sending videos of the access in advance, including secure storage of our bicycles. There is so much to see in this beautiful city. Would definitely recommend.

    I am vegan and I asked Simona, the host, if I could have something vegan for breakfast and she has baked me a vegan cake, which was very sweet of her. She always had freshly baked cakes for breakfast. She was very understanding, she helped us with multiple taxis when we were struggling to order one in Italian, she has accommodated us very well and made us feel welcome. The villa is very beautiful and in a good location, very quiet and didn’t miss any facilities. Overall a very pleasant stay and a very sweet and helpful host!

Convenient location and parking in the courtyard. Safe and handy.
