Paulo the host is lovely and he owns the local Fornai Bakery. He gave us excellent advice on where to go like the Lake Vico and good restaurants. I highly recommend this venue.

Enzo met us and showed us round, he was very friendly, the pool is amazing, they have activities for kids, table tennis, outdoor barbecue with lovely outdoor seating. The house was very well appointed and had a washing machine which was very handy after 2 weeks travel!

Very friendly people, both on the phone and in person. The property is co-managed by a brother (living close to the flat) and a sister (do not worry if she has an american phone number… she replies promptly). All good. The village is nice and the house has an excellent quality/price ratio.

    very comfortable room with a small kitchen and private bathroom . We stayed here on an inter-railing trip rather than the overpriced accommodation in Rome . There are good train connections to Rome (42 min journey) and the small hilltop village of Orte is a delight . As other reviewers have said the quantity and variety of food provided for breakfast is excellent; ham, cheese, cereal, bread, yoghurt, fruit, biscuits … highly recommended

    I felt like I was in a Sophia Loren movie from the 1960's staying here. Charming ,retro, original. Steeped in history above Roman and Etruscan ruins in a medieval hilltop village. The hosts are friendly and kind.. Self service breakfast with a lot of options.All very clean.
