High end, sophisticated, substantial, and very stylish apartment. This apartment is huge and particularly suited to families with 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and even a fussball table in the kids room as well as play equipment outside. The owners are on site and very helpful if needed. The area is in woodland with small lake near by, easy to locate and access. U2 and D'piu supermarkets are not far away. This really is a wonderful apartment and includes many extra consumables. Highly recommend.

Oh my goodness! This is an amazing place to stay. The hosts are extremely welcoming and friendly. The apartment is beautiful, clean, spacious and comfortable. It’s close enough to the lake and other amenities but far enough away to be quiet when you want to relax. The highlight of staying here is the restaurant. The food is superb. Everything is made fresh and they use quality ingredients. This is Michelin star quality food without the price tag. I would recommend this accommodation to anyone who enjoys quality, comfort, peace and quiet.

Where shall I start.... Even before arrival there was good contact about the arrival time. Simona, the best host ever, met us in the small street where the private entrance to our appartment was. There was a parking spot nearby and we had a private garden for our dog (although he was welcome all over the place). The appartment was absolutely amazing, wonderfull! So many rooms, all nicely decorated. One of the couches in the living room was beautiful but less comfy. But the weather was great so we used mainly the balcony terrace. A lovely place also to spend your evening with the cosy lightening. There was breakfast for a week in the fridge, way too much for us... There was fruit, yoghurt, bread, all kinds of meat etc. Also some drinks to start with. And we had a nespresso with some cups! Finally good coffee in an appartment. Simone gave us lots of tips, she offered to help us ordering pizza and introduced us to the dogs and family that also lived on the estate. It was amazing what she offered. I had the pool for myself, there was a beautiful huge park surrounding the houses, so lovely maintained. The story of the property is also special. There is so much to see what I cannot explain in this review. Just go and visit this place and meet the wonderful host and her beautiful decorated B&B. Thanks Simona for having us an keeping up with Marleys barking. He felt so at home I think that he started protecting the place with his life.... I hope we will be in this neighbourhood in future and enjoy your beautiful place again and enjoy your and yours dogs company. Thanks for everything (I must have forgotten so much...)!

It was an unbelievable stay. The castle is on the top of a hill, surrounded by nature. Rooms are immaculate, spa very well organised with a lot of saunas. The restaurant… exquisite food, I had the best lamb ever . Breakfast is above the expectations of a top Italian breakfast and … believe me .. I am Italian very picky on food. The bombolone and the caprese cake were unforgettable. Last but not least : location is few minutes from the CH boarder and you can bypass Choassi which is normally very busy , so it is a perfect base to visit the Como Lake and to return to North Europe .

It was a pleasant surprise - not a room but huge apartment actually, with all appliances you may need ! One can prepare and have breakfast in the room at convenient time - host provides you with pastry, jam, bottled water, yogurt, milk… coffee from the coffee maker was excellent! Parking place in front of the building, with train station few minutes away. Lugano is 25 minutes by car. Highly recommended to explore the lakes area.

    The host was very very friendly and helpful. The apartment was beautiful and very clean. The neighborhood was quiet and peaceful but still just two minutes by foot from the center of the village with restaurants, cafes and gelaterias. There is also a small beach just 2 minutes from the house, which was lovely.

    Very spacious villa, with gorgeous views over lake Lugano. Marco, our host, is an amazing person, great with recommendations and always ready to help. The moment we stepped over the entrance door, we already were planning our return visit. Villa has a lot of history, and is modern at the same time.

    the setting was just perfect- a lovely stroll into town for restaurants & bars. the Villa rina cottage was so thoughtfully equipped - little touches everywhere & even a nespresso machine & capsules. just idyllic to sit on the terrace in the evening & hear the owls ! Marco greeted us with such a beautiful warm welcome & helped carry our bags to the cottage . just a fabulous stay but too short !! the views from the terrace are quite wonderful

    Fantastic experince. Everything was organized, very easy and welcome check-in. Bring only your food, anything else already provided by Marco. Highlly recomended. I would like to express my personal feeling about BBQ: As an Iranian who is expert in making kebab, this BBQ type is the best one. You dont need to bring charcoal. Marco renovated this villa with vey high quality materials. I hope to comeback this villa in future. enJoY. /Mehdi
