I enjoyed being away from the busy tourist villages at night, tucked away on a quiet cliffside. It's really an amazing view getting to Borgi as well. (see below for some tricky logistics about transportation). If you are an easy-going traveler looking for an incredible view, quiet place, but no frills and a little workout to get to and from your room, it's a great spot. The room was small but had everything we needed. It was super clean and had an AC. It felt authentic and gave us a true taste of Riomaggiore, plus the view was fantastic. Of course, there are many steps to climb to reach the room. We sincerely appreciated the coffee after a long day of travel and were grateful to be met at the train station. While Riomaggiore is easy to navigate after a bit of exploration, google maps is not as effective or friendly as a guide! We arrived with a car and left it in the garage parking, traveled by train between the villages.
