The service was beyond excellent. I cannot commend the staff enough for their kindness and commitment to making sure we were fully taken care of. In particular, the gentleman who speaks English, he made sure to always check in with us / follow through with whatever we needed. I also loved the fact that there are private onsen rooms, AND private indoor / outdoor onsens available for booking (since both of us have tattoos).

Among all the wonderful properties we visited during our driving tour of Japan, this one stood out as the highlight. Ties campground was an absolute pleasure. All the fun of camping with almost none of the work! The host was fantastic and kind and the place had absolutely everything we needed. The foot bath was a welcome addition after a long day of trekking in the rain!
