Our stay at the Temple Hotel was so much more than we hoped for. Our hosts were lovely and went out of their way to ensure we were comfortable. The experiences on offer gave us an insight into Buddhism, temple life, traditional food, and culture. Everything was of the highest quality and thoughtfully provided. It was easy to catch the train there, and Ayabe is a delightful place after the busyness of Kyoto. We would definitely recommend staying here, and hopefully, we can visit again one day.

The hospitality and helpfulness were truly exceptional – I felt welcome from the very first moment. The room is beautifully decorated in traditional Japanese style, spotlessly clean, and full of thoughtful details. The location is peaceful and idyllic, perfect for relaxing and unwinding. The host is very responsive to communication via booking.com app. She uses a translation device to do face to face communication with us. She is very kind to share with us her home grown persimmon.

Twinkle Villa is truly a gem. Getting to spend many days in this lovely, lovely house in the charming rural environment was pure joy and adventure for a city dweller like me. Even cycling to the supermarket was so much fun :) The house has everything you'd need: spacious rooms, well-equipped kitchen; living area with fire-place, and gardens - with incredible view of the trees, farmland and mountains. There are very good restaurants nearby with unique offerings. The hosts are kind, very responsive and extremely accommodating. Thank you!

The hosts were amazing. Very kind people who care about their guests. Also, the futons were super comfortable and the room had a cute little Japanese garden.

The staff was really very nice, helpful and accomodating. The Ryokan is perfectly located in the peacful countryside of Hyōgo prefecture. Especially the Family room and the traditional japanese breakfast make it a very memorable experience!
