I beleive the owners do live there as well, but in a seperate part. The room is big, for Japanese standards, and has everything you'll need. The location is remote, in a small village. There's a great Burger & Café in the center. You cannot miss it when you drive up there. There was a simple breakfast included: toast, fried egg, sausage, bit of fruit and coffee or tea.
