Perfect ski lodge for our large family. The owners were very hospitable and quick to respond to our questions and needs. We took ski and snowboard lessons with Sam, Taki, and Kotone at Nozawa and Togari, and as it turns out Taki’s wife is a world class baker who cooked up the best breakfast buns this side of the Pacific. Thank you for making our family trip extra memorable!

This hotel was perfect! Absolutely fantastic local Japanese breakfast and dinner served beautifully. The location is great a short walk to the lift station. Lifts passes can be purchased on site along with rentals etc meaning you can be on the slopes immediately. The hotel has a lovely Onsen too! We will be back ! Thank you for amazing service to the wonderful family and staff.

Well located guest house in Madarao. Staff were excellent and very hospitable. Lift to/from the main ski area each day as required but we often walked as it was so close and easy. We were picked up from and dropped off at local train stations (Myokokogen and Iiyama respectively) by a staff member. Food was good particularly the one dinner we had at Maroudo. Onsen was a good temperature. Highly recommend.

The apartment was great, lots of room and very clean. The hosts are very very nice. We felt welcome the second we entered the main cottage. All employees are great. They all go out of their way to ensure you have a great stay. We could buy the ski passes at the main cottage. They had food and drink options and even offer ski and snowboard lessons as well as other trip options. Make sure to write them in advance to secure a spot. We did not but were lucky to get a snowboard trainer organized last minute by the host. As a complete beginner (adult) I really liked the snowboard lessons and can highly recommend booking with them.
