Amazing Guest House in japanese style. It was cozy, perfectly clean and quiet accommodation. We loved everything there. Speaking about the host, she was so kind. What we also appreciated was we could leave our luggage there before check in. Thank you very much for all.

Our stay at Mikawa B&B was an absolute highlight of our vacation! Sasa and Annie's warm hospitality made us feel right at home from the moment we arrived. An amazing Japanese-style apartment, modern and beautiful, in a lovely location (minutes walk from the Samurai district and the Ninja Temple). We enjoyed the facilities, the space, tasteful decoration. Probably our best accommodation during our trip in Japan. Highly recommend it!

The house used to be the house of a Samurai, the interior of the house still remained in its traditional form. The property is close to the Kanazawa station, with a lot of restaurants / Izakaya in close proximity. The host was amazing and gave us a tour and introduction to his ancestor who was a Samurai. It was a great experience overall.

Absolutely loved everything about this stay in Kanazawa. The staff - Uchida San and Nakamiya San - were both so kind and helpful. We had great conversations with both of them who didn’t shy away from giving us great recommendations about local spots to see and eat at! Their warmth and the homeliness of the Machiya itself was refreshing after staying in hotels at our previous cities. The place is clean, spacious and authentic with the furnishing and tatami floors. The onset within the machiya was the cherry on top. Overall the location of the machiya is within walking distance to the main Kanazawa station which was very convenient.

    awesome stay at very nice hosts. beautiful little fishing village, you need to eat sushi and drink sake at the local sushi restaurant (sakae sushi) and try fugu at the harbor. the b&b is awesomely designed and very functional. free rent of a bike to explore the village

    The woman who was at the Villas (I stayed in number 2) was a delight. Recommended dinner and even drove me there too. Very welcoming and accommodating. The use of the bikes was an added bonus.

    Great location, close to the Geisha Village, Castle and a 20 minute walk from many bars and restaurants. The ryokan was lovely and traditional, I loved the Yukata's, the onsen which we were able to use privately, the green tea in our rooms and the tatami mats and futon set up. Bungo and his mother were very kind, friendly and attentive. If you're looking for a traditional experience at a reasonable price, then I would recommend this ryokan.

    It was my first stay at a ryokan and an absolutely great experience. Great location, an awesome room with a comfy bed, a mini onsen in the basement. But the best was the host, Mr. Bungo, he was extremely friendly, helpful and patient. His English proficiency is exceptional and he really knows his city and surrounding area well. Especially the village of Shirakawa ;-)

    This was great as had whole villa with fire and table and chairs to ourselves but the benefit of communal kitchen and lounge as well. Nice and quiet with central courtyard.
