The villa was beautiful, and the view was incredible looking over Lake Ashi and Hakone. It was amazing to see Mt Fuji from the dining able and top deck. The sauna and jacuzzi were great touches, the air conditioning was easy to use and change, and the wooden bath was very relaxing. It was great to be able to use the washing machine facilities half way through our holiday.

This house is renovated with great hospitality in mind. It is a blend of new and old. What I love is the thought behind the property and the host. The bathroom is top notched, the care taken on details: hand towels and amenities (shower cap, toothbrushes, cotton pads). The heating is good (although we didn’t need it), there is a washing machine for long stays and the full kitchen (complete with a rice cooker) makes it a home away from home. It is great for longer stays and the beds are comfortable to render a good night’s rest. I have to say, the blanket covers and bed sheets are well laundered (and it makes a great difference)! This means the housekeeping is top notched! It is close to lots of eateries and the lake. The carpark is great for families traveling with a rental car.

Everything. The house is very clean. The furniture and equipments are stylish and high tech. It is a pleasure to live in such a wooden house! The staff is great and helpful. They helped us to buy flower boutique and recommended us some restaurants for dinner. The restaurant place are very far and it is not recommended to go. The utensils in the kitchen are very adequate. The night view is stunning as well!

What a gem of a hotel! Right on the lake at the bus station and boat launch, so it was super easy to get anywhere. We had a Japanese style room, which was something new for us, but a fun experience. Our room faced Mt. Fuji, and we woke the second day to a beautiful view! The owner was extremely friendly, spoke English well, and helped us plan our days so we maximized our time with the weather. He and his wife also ran the little restaraunt and served up delicious food for breakfast and dinner (which was great as most places close early in the evening). If I were going to be back in the area, I would definitely stay here again!

The villa itself is really nice. Loads of room, great projector for watching movies etc. Air Con everywhere which was really appreciated and very clean. Communication with the owners was via Booking.com and was very quick and helpful. Located right next to the bus depot, Pirate ship and 7-Eleven. Super handy.

The house is beautiful, very clean with great kitchen/dining area and lounge. We had a lovely relaxing stay here. The wifi is excellent and there are plenty of plug sockets. The bedrooms are a bit basic, but the beds and linen are comfy and clean. The bathroom is very clean and new, there are two toilets and there's a washing machine too. Access: it's a short walk from the bus-stop and up a short hill and some steep steps, so it's a bit tricky with big heavy suitcases. I would definitely stay here again if I came to Hakone.

Family of 9 including a toddler came to stay here. It is located right by the lake with beautiful views to wake up to! It’s walking distance to the lake boat ride too. Hakone is a quiet town so the town itself is small but the property is huge, good amenities, easy to get to by car and comfortable. We bought food from a supermarket before driving to the location and enjoyed a meal on the day. The single washing machine + dehumidifier helped us massively to wash and dry clothes after a long trip. There is a fridge, rice cooker, cooker, all the things you would need to make simple meals. Didn’t notice any salt / pepper though could be wrong.
