This is a modern, beautiful little house with many comfortable areas, a fantastic washing machine and dryer, a charming garden in a quiet beautiful neighbourhood of Takayama. The wi-fi works perfectly, I had to work remotely and had no problems at all. This was our best stay in our trip to Japan.

We had an excellent stay here. The host was very thoughtful turning the air-conditioning on before our arrival on hot summer day and provided easy communication before and throughout our stay. He gave us great recommendations for food and local meat, which we thoroughly enjoyed. The house was well-equipped, allowing us to cook some meals. Additionally, its location was perfect, with easy access to all attractions by foot and the parking provided definitely is a plus. Highly recommended!

    This place is a dream. The staff is so nice and helpful, the onsens are great. The rooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable. It feels like immersing in a Japanese dream. The hotel's village is beautiful and quiet. And it's very easy to get to Kamikochi.

    We stayed here for 1 night during the Takayama Spring Festival , it was one of the few hotels with a room available during this very busy time in Takayama. Turned out to be a great stay. A short walk to Hilda Folk Village. A traditional ryokan with onsen which we tried for the first time and enjoyed the experience. We caught the bus from the city centre to get there. They provided a free shuttle back into Takayama the next morning.

    An absolute gem hidden a bus way from Hirayu Onsen. There is an outdoor onsen and two private onsens on-site. The owners put on a delicious breakfast and were kind enough to cater for my vegetarian diet. We even got a room upgrade. Thank you for your hospitality. Bus stop is a 4 minute walk away. A second bus stop is a 20 minute walk down the hill. A small village with a shop and a couple of restaurants are 30 minute walk.
