Ito Ryokan is exactly what I was looking for. The experience of sleeping in a traditional Japanese inn was amazing. They are extremely kind and the attention they give to their guests is spectacular. Located in Tokyo it's convenient for travellers that want to escape a little from the buildings of a busy big city and yet be able to enjoy what the city has to offer. The staff were great as well, I got to have a chat with a lovely lady that told me about the inn story and exchange some stories about my own country and the experience I'd had in japan and some more inside from Japanese culture from a native. I'd strongly recommend this place if you're visiting Japan.

The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. They know English and are willing to help you with anything. They clean the room and give you new towels every day. The toilet is the normal western one, not the Japanese futuristic one but that's ok. The futons are very comfortable. The train station is very close and they have a convenient store close by.

The room was perfect for a family of four as it had sufficient bed space, toilet, and cleaning space, which included a washing machine. There was also a small kitchenet! However, what made the experience exceptional was the kind and friendly staff. They were so helpful in all aspects! Rented a 2 person’s room from 2/8-2/14 Host: Very friendly person, also very helpful if you have any questions about Japan. Airport pick-up/drop-off: available and worth it! After a long flight, the last thing I wanted to do was to commute into the city-his luxury minivan was very comfortable. Also when catching an early flight out, this can let me catch a 45 mins nap before my flight. Location: located less than a km from the Okubo train station, this location can let you have a restful night but not live too far outside any metropolitan area. Space: first impression was very clean, has a mini kitchen area, separated bathroom and toilet. A comfortable twin bed. QOverall: if I ever were to visit Tokyo, I’d definitely rent from them again.
