We were warmly greeted with some tea and sweets. The room was very simple but clean, the bathroom more or less the same and there was hot water. Breakfast was served after the hike and contained tea, egg sandwich, juice, fruit, hoppers and toast. The host showed us around a little and helped us with bus and train for the next day. The best time to go is Dec-May to see it at its best, the rest of the year is still a good climb. The owner was great, he walked me around the village to show me the shops, places to eat, and the starting point to Adam's Peak. The breakfast provided is great. If you hike early for the sunrise, then this is perfect for when you get back. They also provide very powerful torches if needed. The people were wonderful, and the atmosphere was cozy. Although it was a bit challenging to find the guest house due to the lack of signs, it's actually located right next to the Nallathanniya Buddha Statue. If you have trouble finding it, just ask the friendly folks at Mountain Villa Adam's Peak. They serve delicious meals, and it's the perfect place to stay if you're planning to hike Adam's Peak.Guest review byISAKGroup
