We had an amazing stay here — everything was truly excellent! The staff were incredibly kind and attentive; both the young man and the older gentleman working there went out of their way to help us and make sure we were comfortable. We stayed in a five-person room that had two double bed and one single, plus a shared bathroom. The room was spotless and very cozy. The bathroom has an open-style concept, which might not suit everyone for a long stay, but since we were there only for a few nights, it wasn’t a problem at all. Also, there’s a separate restroom downstairs near the restaurant, which is convenient. Breakfast was one of the highlights — they prepare your eggs exactly how you like them, and there were also warm chocolate-banana crepes, fresh fruit, and various drinks. Everything was fresh, tasty, and served with care. The pool isn’t very big, but it’s clean, refreshing, and perfect for cooling off. The garden area is lovely and relaxing, ideal for spending quiet moments outdoors. The beach is about a 15–20 minute walk away — not too close but definitely walkable. On top of all that, it’s an excellent value for money. We honestly paid much less than we expected for the quality of service and comfort we received. It’s a great price-performance option, everything about our stay was pleasant and satisfying 👏🏻

The accommodation is absolutely wonderful. Each cottage is tucked away in a lush cinnamon plantation, offering guests complete privacy and a serene atmosphere. The cottages are impeccably clean and air-conditioned, ensuring a comfortable stay. The location is peaceful, just a 10-minute walk from the beach. Initially, we booked for just one night, but after experiencing this place—by far the best of the seven accommodations we stayed at in Sri Lanka—we decided to extend our stay. The host is exceptionally warm and attentive, making sure every guest feels welcome. Breakfast is another highlight, as the host thoughtfully prepares whatever guests desire, whether it's a traditional local dish or something more familiar.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful accommodation and it was an absolute joy. The high-speed internet access was a godsend, ensuring I could stay connected and manage my work with ease. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing me the freedom to prepare my meals just the way I like. An added convenience was the laundry facility, which was particularly useful during my extended stay. One of the highlights was the property’s proximity to the lake, offering stunning views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find. What made our stay truly special, however, was the lovely couple who own the place. Their warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Their local tips and knowledge were invaluable in making the most of our stay. The villa is beautifully furnished and a great location, you walk out of the back door straight on to the beach. The staff, Malinga and team were fantastic. The chef cooked incredible food and they made our whole stay so comfortable. We travelled with a 2yr old baby and they accommodated everything from cot to high chair, they made our travels so easy.

I had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The room was clean, spacious, and very comfortable, exactly as shown in the photos. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, always ready to assist with a smile. The location was perfect — close to everything I needed, yet quiet enough for a peaceful rest. The breakfast was also excellent, with a good variety of fresh options. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and I would happily stay here again. Highly recommended!

    Our stay at Happy Stay Villa was absolutely fantastic. As a family of four, including two kids, we couldn’t have wished for a more family-friendly place. The property was very clean and well-kept, with a spacious apartment that provided plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs garden and balcony were perfect for relaxing after a day at the Kabalana beach. The host was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast, which was provided upon request.

    The villa was so peaceful and comfortable to be in. The staff was super friendly and helpful. The villa was really clean as well. We had a great time and we had BBQ nights as well for which the staff helped us a lot!

    The food cooked by the team was very good . specially the Sri Lankan food .Priyantha and the cook were very hospitable . the Villa employee's and extremely helpful . The villa was very clean .
