What an amazing hidden gem and perfect place to spend our honeymoon. We had the most wonderful 5 nights at Villa Alba. Our room was stunning and had the most beautiful views. The staff were extremely attentive and accommodating and made us feel incredibly welcome from the moment we arrived and throughout our whole stay - they really couldn’t do enough for us and were always so happy and polite. The menu and food at the hotel was outstanding and always so beautifully presented. We particularly loved the pool area, comfortable sun loungers and views over the beautiful gardens and rice fields. The hotel very kindly organised a safari for us at Udawalawe National Park - this is a must when staying in Sri Lanka. A day we will remember forever. Location is peaceful and only 10 minutes from the beach. Very easy to get to by tuk tuk which the hotel very kindly organised for us during our stay. We really can’t fault anything about this hotel. We really hope to return in the future will be recommending it to all of our friends. If you are considering booking Villa Alba please don’t think twice, you won’t regret it! Thank you to all of the staff at Villa Alba for your amazing hospitality and for making our first trip to Sri Lanka and honeymoon so memorable.

It was in the midst of greenery and beauty. But a little far from the beach but with a tuk tuk which the hotel arranged just five minutes. It was one of the most relaxing and best holidays ever. Teh swimming pool was clean rooms and bathrooms were also very clean. We were given something for the mosquitos in the room for the night. It was a eco friendly and sustainable kind of villa. Expect to bring your own toiletries since what they give is basic and which is totally fine. There were wonderful cute cats and kittens which added to the charm of the place. Breakfast was basic but again that's ok since we wanted to go explore other places for lunch and dinner so it's good to keep it light. Fruits were very fresh clean and good. Sankar and the night guard made us feel safe and helpful with all requests. Just loved the stay a bit too much that I am now missing it terribly.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful accommodation and it was an absolute joy. The high-speed internet access was a godsend, ensuring I could stay connected and manage my work with ease. The kitchen facilities were well-equipped, allowing me the freedom to prepare my meals just the way I like. An added convenience was the laundry facility, which was particularly useful during my extended stay. One of the highlights was the property’s proximity to the lake, offering stunning views and a sense of tranquility that is hard to find. What made our stay truly special, however, was the lovely couple who own the place. Their warm hospitality and friendly demeanor added a personal touch that made us feel right at home. Their local tips and knowledge were invaluable in making the most of our stay. I highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable, well-situated accommodation with all the necessary amenities and a welcoming atmosphere. It’s perfect for both short and long stays. Location was great, we all felt as if we were at home. The staff were very accommodating and friendly. The property is located on the beach with a private gate access down to the beach. It was great to have your own private pool too! Plenty of options to eat and drink close by. However if you would like to have the staff cook for you they will shop for the ingredients and you just pay them for the ingredients.

    Our stay at Happy Stay Villa was absolutely fantastic. As a family of four, including two kids, we couldn’t have wished for a more family-friendly place. The property was very clean and well-kept, with a spacious apartment that provided plenty of room for everyone. The downstairs garden and balcony were perfect for relaxing after a day at the Kabalana beach. The host was exceptionally helpful and went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. We enjoyed a delicious continental breakfast, which was provided upon request.
