One of the cleanest and most comfortable places we stayed during our travels around Sri Lanka. The hosts were exceptionally friendly and polite, making us feel right at home. The room was spacious with comfortable bed. Sri Lankan breakfast was absolutely delicious. We also appreciated having access to the kitchen fridge and the reliable Wi-Fi. Jaffna turned out to be an unexpected highlight of our trip — such a hidden gem! Highly recommended!

The rooms are large with all facilities. The breakfast had plenty of choices. Authentic Sri Lankan Breakfast. We were given the choice to order what we preferred. The host Haran was fantastic always going out of his way to make sure that we were comfortable. He even organised a vehicle with an experienced driver to tour Jaffna. Nallur Residence is centrally located just a step away from the famous Nallur Kandaswamy Temple.

It was very smooth, The Manager was waiting for us when we arrived. The place was spotless, clean & comfortable. All the amenities were there & the place was neither far nor close to the city central so you could avoid the city noise yet enjoy the easy commute.

Hello Ladies and Gentleman, I recently had the pleasure of staying at Berty's Cottage as a solo traveler, and I must say, I felt incredibly comfortable throughout my whole visit in Jaffna. Upon arrival, I was warmly welcomed by a lovely young couple who offered me a delicious cup of tea, which was a delightful touch. Even the process of paying was feeling featherlight. During my stay, I was quite busy with various activities, but I always looked forward to returning to my room in the evenings. The beds + blankets were exceptionally comfortable, and the air conditioning made for a perfect sleeping environment. I slept very well each night! The hosts were incredibly attentive and went above and beyond to ensure I had a pleasant experience. They prepared a fantastic breakfast for me each morning, and even woke up early to accommodate my early check-out request. Their hospitality truly made a difference. I really can recommend Berty's Cottage to anyone looking for a cozy and family-like atmosphere. If you’re seeking a welcoming place to stay, this is definitely the travel - spot for you! We had such a wonderful stay at Nallarun illam! My husband, two children and I shared a family room, and we had ample space and ample air conditioning. The room is off of a shared kitchen/lounge space and a balcony, which was really nice for preparing snacks and relaxing. Everything was very clean and nicely situated. The biggest highlight of this place was our wonderful hosts. The host family could not have been more gracious. We happened to be in Jaffna for the new year, and they took us under their wing, sharing their traditions (including treats, dressing, a visit to the temple and fireworks at night). Their sweet kids played with our kids and, all in all, they made us feel completely at home in this beautiful city. We're very grateful for their generosity and hospitality and would absolutely recommend this place to everyone.
