We initially planned to stay at Agro Village Kalpitiya for just one night but ended up staying for two. The wonderful host, Pereira, took great care of us. The food was so delicious that we had all our meals there during our stay! The shrimp and tuna were incredibly fresh. There's also a massage hut on the property where a masseur comes by appointment. My husband and I enjoyed a great massage in the evening at a good price. Nearby is a fantastic beach with a bar (next to Elements) and a kitesurfing school. I highly recommend visiting—it's a quiet, empty beach with wild donkeys roaming around. Our son was absolutely thrilled!

Sandy Edge has garden views, free WiFi and free private parking, situated in Kalpitiya, 400 metres from Kudawa Beach. There is a private entrance at the chalet for the convenience of those who stay.

Such a lovely, relaxed spot. Owner is super lovely and has great information, recommendations and tips about things to do/transport around. He's always keen to help and checks in regularly with how your stay is going. Beds were super comfortable and they also do communal dinners at night which creates a more friendly, hostel vibe among the guests which is nice. Helped us organise a dolphin cruise with some other guests and we saw over 100 dolphins which was amazing! Fairly cheap to do as well.

Luna Laguna is situated in Kalpitiya. There is an in-house restaurant and free private parking. The accommodation features airport transfers, while a car rental service is also available.

Ram has been an incredible host, making our experience truly amazing. aside from the beauty of this place, the comfort, the equipments made to enjoy without worrying about anything, he and the chef made this stay outstanding. they showed us their garden, we could enjoy learning stuff with them, talking for hours, having all our needs and beyond their priority. really, i would not recommend any other place in the area if you are into bohemian luxury and sharing with the locals.

This place is a paradise and we absolutely recommend it to anyone that wants to enjoy some days of relax and peace, surrounded by nature. The owner and the stuff were so careful and kind and they took care of every detail. The room was perfectly clean, spacious and comfortable. They made delicious dinner and breakfast for us (we requested vegan meals and they were prepared even if we said this just on our arrival). Moreover they have a wonderful rooftop where you can enjoy sunrise/sunset and do some yoga. Beaches are exactly beyond the dunes, so you can reach them in some minutes (walking). Last but not least, Lily, their dog was one of the friendliest dog we've ever met! We definitely recommend Dune Towers and for sure we will come back in the future.

Harshan will surely remain one of my most beautiful encounters in Sri Lanka. With his finnish friend, Inna, we remade the world around squid in coconut milk From the garden/grilled fish (bought together not far from the fishermen) and good local béer! recommend these paratas for breakfast. A very friendly and helpful family own this place, and nothing is too much trouble for them. The location is really tranquil and the rooms are clean and comfortable. If you happen to stay, please feed the brown dog that hangs around 🙏

We stayed as a couple for 11 days in this beautiful cottage 1 minute from the beach. It is so quiet and you can relax and retreat very well. There is also a whale skeleton and several beaches are within walking distance. It is also a kitesurfing paradise and there are many donkeys here. You can easily cater for yourself, but there are also several restaurants nearby. The owners are next door and are happy to help at every opportunity. We would come back any time. :-)
