Max and his wife are just great hosts, very helpful in every way. The location is great, you are really right on the beach, which is absolutely not busy, for days you don't see any tourist ever. Along with that comes that there is no restaurant nearby, but Max might lend you his bycicle, and in 5 minutes you are there. You can also ask Max, they cook for you.

Absolutely loved our stay - after travelling for a long time, Deb and Joseph's place felt like staying with a relative. Beautiful oasis by the river. Bungalows are comfortable, cool, and tastefully decorated. Be sure to wander on the path at dusk and at dawn to see all the birds. I would give 11/10 if I could! Thank you for the wonderful stay.

The room was very clean and nicely decorated. The location is perfect and the owners very kind and friendly, they also helped me with good recommendations for Negombo. Loved the quite garden and the huge breakfast in the morning. Definitely recommended for solo woman travellers.
