This place has an amazing location, perfect for relaxing. The beach is quiet and peaceful, making it a great spot to unwind. The outdoor space is fantastic—you can spend hours just enjoying the atmosphere. A lovely family runs this place, and they offer delicious homemade food in their restaurant. They also provide snorkeling masks, so you can spend hours in the water watching the beautiful fish. It’s a perfect spot to enjoy the sea and the beauty of southern Sri Lanka!

It's a great place where you want to disconnect a bit, relax and enjoy your rest. The location was great, very close to the beach, you can walk in 7 min. The property is a villa and you have a home stay there. The man who manages everything is a really nice person, We had great time with him, had lots of talks, it was very lovely. They staff was great and they were also giving some tea, fruit sometimes for free as a treat, which was very lovely. The property was clean and the kitchen has everything we needed to cook. The pool was nice and clean, we had some relaxing time there as well. I will go back again for sure once I am in Matara.

I had a great stay here! The location is very good, the beach is just a couple of minutes walk away. I would recommend going to Legend Moon Bay, which has a surfing spot too. The owners are kind and reliable people, the neighbourhood felt safe. The mobile internet coverage is good.

This was truly a hidden gem in Matara. The place is super clean and nice, the kind hosts were very helpful and supportive. This place had fully equipped kitchen (Microwave, Hot Plate, Electric Kettle, Juice Maker, Refrigerator and all the kitchen equipment you could ever want), There were two rooms which was super clean. Also this place had an Electric iron and there were Washing machine (we didn't use the washing machine) although the place is bit far from town, It is in close proximity to Polhena beach, which is a very beautiful beach. My first impression and stay at the place is not 10 out of 10, but 100 out of 10 ❤️. Highly recommend place and will definitely visit again.

I’ve been travelling for 3.5 months and this is one of the best stays we’ve had as a couple. As soon as we arrived we were greeted with an iced lemonade (there is a slight hill to get to the house), then shown to our room. They have made the entire top floor into the guest part so we had the bedroom, lounge area and a lovely outdoor seating area. There is also a little gas cooker and jug if you wanted to do your own thing. Everything was very clean and the bed was very comfy. The food was amazing we had 2 breakfast and 2 dinners but were also offered plenty of ginger tea which was our favourite part! Vinu and her family were so lovely and made sure we had everything we needed during our short stay. For me this is a place I would love to spend a month relaxing. We spend hours sitting on the balcony watching all the wildlife. The beach is a 10/15 min walk and there is a yummy Resturant nearby called Lemongrass Cafe where we had lunch. The accomodation is called House Of Cakes on google maps.

    The villa and pool is gorgeous, with stunning views of the ocean. The beds, rooms and kitchen were well stocked with good bedding and kitchen supplies. The caretaker was very helpful with meeting us and showing us where everything was and how to use all the facilities. The restaurants are not close by, but it is a very quick drive or a 15min walk away and not as busy as the surfer town of Hiriketiya.

    The location was clean and beautiful. situated in a calm location, closed to Mirissa and Polhena beaches and not far from Matara town and it is walking distance to the Kamburugamuwa Train Station. The villa had two bedrooms, and both were Airconditioned, the kitchen is fully equipped. The Host is a very friendly and kind person. he went above and beyond for attend our needs.
