We loved our time here! My brother and I stayed here for two nights. All of the food was amazing, we chose to eat dinner there as well. The hosts catch the fish themselves. Very clean and comfortable, and good wifi. The best thing was the host family. Everyone was so kind and accommodating. They were able to help us arrange transportation to Udawala. We highly recommend staying here for an authentic and peaceful experience.

One of the best experiences in Sri lanka trip within 3 weeks. Amazing place, not only appartment but all Rekava. Definately one of the most underrated places in Sri lanka. If you are in doubts - you definately should go there. Peace, silence, nature, ocean, turtles, amazing people - this is Rekava. Lookout lodge is excelent accomodation - new house, all clean and comfy, perfect location near the beach and turtle watch center. Good restaurant nearby (reccomended by Chami). Excelent breakfast and peacefull conversations with owner. We felt like home there and all our wishes were fulfilled with smile. And - there is a pool now - we where the first users and it is great. Appriciated by our boys. Sorry that we booked just 2 nights there, would have liked to stay at least a couple more days. everything was perfect ! location is amazing, close to the beach. breakfast was a feast and delicious. owners are kind and caring people. Asanka gives you his time and share his knowledge and expertise about the turtles. he managed to take us to a turtle hatching her eggs within minutes of receiving a phone call from sanctuary staff. the cabana is great, spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated, in a quiet and peaceful garden.

Green Turtle is the best hotel in Rekawa. If you want paradise beaches away from the bustle of the city, this is your place. The host is always helpfull and he answered all our requests with a big smile. He can help you to order a tuktuk with reasonable prices to go to other beaches or places in Tangalle. In the hotel area there are many restaurants and they have also finished the renovations in the hotel own restaurant. The room and the bed were very comfortable. The shower is in the middle of the bathroom but the floor dries very fast. Finally, breakfasts are amazing.

Nice new big room, with very comfortable huge bed. Amazing terasse with nice view to garden. Sitting here you can always hear sea waves from the beach which is 300 m walk distance. Restaurant offers very tasty food. I really recommend this place in case you look for quite stay.

    It was our most beautiful accomodation in Sri Lanka! Big,modern villa with beautiful garden. Room was perfectly clean, furnished with good taste and with big balcony overlooking the garden with many birds and plants. Owners were friendly and very helpful. They arranged for us tuk tuk to Stone temple for very good price. We could choose tasty breakfest from their menu. 10 minutes walk is beautiful Silence beach and the are many more great beaches near. We recommend Tanzanite place for 100%!!!

    Everything was great: the villa, the pool, the feeling of being in the jungle while having a beach within 500 steps and some nice restaurants close by also. The personnel was really friendly, and the manager also cooked us a freshly caught fish for dinner. Already want to go back!
