The welcome when we arrived was outstanding. Relaxing with a drink while checking in and lots of excellent useful info. Very professional. Although close together the rooms feel very private due to all the beautiful green plants. Lovely terrace to relax on. The bed and pillows very comfortable. The bathroom and outside shower is outstanding with toiletries provided. They have thought of everything you may need right down to mossie slray. We booked half board and I highly recommend this option. Variety of choices for breakfast and dinner.

We had a wonderful stay at Unwind Dhigurah for 8 nights with my wife. The service by manager Nilanka and the team was exceptional. We felt like at home all the time. We were taken care of, fed and entertained by the team. All our requests were solved immediately and to the maximum. I think this is a perfect stay on the small local island Dhigura. Service and coziness you'll get there is unparalleled. The location is perfect — the hotel is the closest to the bikini beach (10 minutes walking) and to the sand bank (40 min walking). There are many good restaurants around the hotel (Saavaa, Dhiguveli), several super-markets, activities (kayaks, paddle board, etc). We took a day trip snorkeling from the hotel, the crew was great, and we saw 3 Manta Rays (fantastic creatures!). There are travel blogs on YouTube, which we used to select the island and this hotel. I think Dhigurah is considered one of the best options among local island and we can definitely recommend it. It was one of the best vacations for us, we totally refreshed. Very friendly and helpful personal, clean room, comfortable bed.

This was already the second time that we stayed in the Tides Guesthouse and nothing has changed within a year (in a positiv way)! The staff is still very friendly and helpflul. The daily breakfast is very tasty. The rooms are cleaned every day and you get new towls whenever you need them. In addition, the staff organises whale shark, manta and other tours. Don't worry about the transfer to Dhigurah, the Tides Guesthouse also takes care of that! A special thank you goes to Hafeez (owner) and Lahiru (staff)! They are taking very good care of all guests and whenever you have a request, they handle it!

You want to pay for a clean comfortable shelter. You definitely get it here and more. Beautiful interior, comfort and clean style. Oh and the rooms are cleaned 2x a day :) What you dont pay for but still experience: This place has a heart. Wonderful hospitality and kindness combined with outstanding professionalism. Staff were great: Professional, Caring and helpful Along with house keeping personnel too 👍 They helped us with booking Tuktuk to and from the beautiful Sand banks:)... Location was great few meters from the beautiful beach of Dhigura:)... Rooms were cozy,comfy and clean 👍 The restaurant was a very good available option just couple of floors above :) They contacted ( the morning shift lady at the front desk)our upcoming hotel to make sure they afforded a boat for us from Male to Mafushi:) Overall our experience was great and the island it self is a hidden gem 💎

Akiri was the best success of the Maldives. They welcomed us wonderfully and were concerned about helping us at all times. The hotel has a lot of charm and the rooms are super curious. Breakfast is great too. I definitely recommend it to you.

Staying at this hotel in Dhigurah was truly exceptional. It exceeded everything we hoped for — especially for those passionate about diving. Every single day, there’s a different diving program carefully planned by an outstanding team of professional and knowledgeable instructors. They know exactly what they’re doing and always take guests to new dive spots, focusing on unique experiences and the chance to see a variety of marine life. What makes it even more special is how the team creates a great group atmosphere. They encourage everyone to interact, creating a fun, collaborative, and friendly environment among guests. Every evening, they screen a video recap of the day’s dive — filmed and edited by the crew — which is such a nice way to relive the experience and connect with fellow divers before dinner. It’s also when they brief the next day’s adventure, building anticipation in the best way. The boat crew is also amazing – they’re highly skilled at finding whale sharks and other sea creatures, and their dedication to making sure guests have the best possible experience is unmatched. They’re truly a reference on the island when it comes to diving expertise. The hotel itself is beautiful and full of thoughtful details. The hospitality and service were outstanding throughout our stay. One of the highlights was the open-air bathroom – it’s such a unique experience to shower surrounded by nature. And the food? Absolutely the best we had in the Maldives. From the moment we arrived, they asked about dietary restrictions and then surprised us every day with a different, delicious menu for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Every meal felt like it was made with care and creativity. We can’t recommend this place enough – for the hospitality, the incredible diving, the amazing instructors and crew, and the overall experience. Just perfect from beginning to end.
