If you are traveling to the Maldives you will learn that picking an island is confusing and stressful. We went with pearl sands as it is a private resort built on a local island so that we could experience both. And it did not disappoint. The resort was comfortable, quiet and relaxing when we needed it to be. And they offered all the necessary activities when we wanted to get out and see things. The staff were super friendly and helpful. And made us feel at home. The local village is a short 10 minute walk away and beautiful to explore.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay, thanks to the amazing hospitality of the owner, Sameer. He went above and beyond to ensure his guests felt welcomed and cared for, truly going the extra mile. The breakfast was delightful, offering a perfect start to each day. One of the highlights of our trip was the snorkeling and fishing excursion. The coral sanctuary was breathtaking, and it was incredible to witness such vibrant marine life up close. Sameer also prioritised safety during the snorkeling trip, which made the experience even more enjoyable and stress-free. We loved our room from the very first minute. It is spacious, very clean, the bed is perfect. The whole Samura Guesthouse is just great - the most lovely staff (especially Nur, thank you so much for everything!), good food, perfect beach right outside the window, lots of activities, and it was soooo quiet and relaxing when we were there. It's a perfect place to see and feel the real Maldives. I'm so glad we chose Thulusdhoo and not any random ressort. Everyone on the island is very nice and welcoming. Book this cosy and beautiful guesthouse as soon as possible before the island gets too crowded! Big hotels are already being built :( . The transfer by boat, organised by Samura, worked very well. Just a note: the boat to Thulusdhoo stops a little further to the right/outside the "main" waiting area of the airport.

Location and the cleanliness are excellent. The bikini beach is just in front of the hotel and there are many colourful fishes you can spot when snorkeling. The rooms were very modern and super clean. We had a huge terrasse with view on the ocean. The staff is very helpful and attentive. Breakfast was great as well. We recommend a 100%

i had a great time staying with akiri, staff is exceptional and really quick to answer via whats app. they were so nice and let me have a late check out without a charge. you can fill up your water bottle for free. great breakfast. 10 min walking to dream beach , which is great. 10 min walking to centre and bikini beach. if you want to have more "luxery" you can stay at the zen den from akiri, the location is near to the beach.
