The location of the homestay is perfect, 5 min walk to the entrance of the park and 15-20 min walk to the airport. Water and drinks, breakfast, lunch and dinner available for a reasonable price and tasty. Host very friendly and great service. No mosquitos because of the window screens. All day power and fan. Great value for the price. A perfect jungle stay!

I would definitely recommend this wonderful homestay in Mulu! It was a warm welcome from James, who grew up in this remote place. Authentic doesn't get any more authentic, I think. He explained to us all the things you can do and what to bring for a perfect experience. With Brenda we had a wonderful tour of the large caves and she gives us all the information about the animals we saw along the way. In the evening they showed us a documentary on a big screen about the history of Mulu and the struggle between the locals and the palm oil industry. It was very interesting! Dina and her husband are very kind and will welcome you very well! Only 7min walking from the entrance of the park, the homestay is well located and you could enjoy the park. You could meet many people and the room is very clean. I suggest to do a local tour organized by Dina with a local guide to visit a village and a waterfall, it's very interesting and nice hiking.
