Ocean House met all our needs - it was close to the sea but a step away from the main tourist area and we were able to make our own breakfast and cook when we got fed up of eating out (and we did!). The bed was very comfortable, the shower was superb and the kitchen was well equipped, although we would have preferred a cafetiere to the coffee machine. We were very impressed by the price (although I suspect we had an upgrade) and the staff were really friendly and helpful. We struggled a bit with the automatic check-in (you have to wait for an email at some point in the process and I got impatient!) but somebody quickly came to help. Generally couldn't have found a better place for us and we had the best fish stew at Cafe Yil (by the tram stop). We will definitely stay here again, when we visit the Dutch side of the family.

Everything was great, the room was very big with comfy beds, kitchen with everything we needed, they even left us coffee to make :) Will defiantly visit again! Bus and tram stops are near, the pier is just a few minutes away.

An unbelievably excellent choice for anyone looking for peaceful, comfortable, and very friendly accommodation. The property has an authentic atmosphere, being a typical old building that has been fully renovated with great care. Everything! The property was almost right in front of the Dr. Kuyperstraat stop of line 9 of the tram so everything else around the city is accessible. It is the same tram we used to go to the shopping area (De Passage, De Bijenkorf, etc) and the beach (scheveningen). The property had everything we needed for cooking and washing our clothes. The property is also very generous with the essentials such as tissue, soap, towels, etc. If you plan on biking around the city, there is a Donkey Republic drop off point in front of the property which makes start and end of rental very convenient.
