A totally unique experience. The room is just by the canal, where you can sit and watch the boats and birds. The room is really well equipped with a really good bathroom/shower and good kitchenette. We spent time every afternoon/evening at our terrace, and even had a take away dinner there one evening. The host is fantastic and helped bring our super heavy bags for storage in his shop when we had a few hours to spend before leaving for the airport after checkout.

We very much enioyed our stay here. The cottage has a comfy vibe and is equipped with pretty much everything you could possibly need. The outside garden is to die for and there are plenty of spots where you can drink your morning coffee and enjoy the peace and quiet. The hosts are incredibly welcoming and kind. They gave us some really useful recommendations that enhanced our experience as first-time tourits in the Netherlands. Overall, it was truly a wonderful stay and we highly recommend this place!

Kasteel Sterkenburg was a dream! We were made to feel at home straight away by our wonderful hosts. The Kasteel and it’s surroundings are nothing short of breathtaking. Inside, we were mesmerised by all the art and artifacts with plenty a good book to peruse. Breakfast was divine and nothing was too much trouble for our comedic and charismatic hosts.
