Sometimes, you find a place that's more than just a spot on a map. Barang Village Homestays is one of those special places. Tucked away in a beautiful part of Nepal, this homestay is a stone's throw from the busy city life of Pokhara lakeside. From the moment I stepped in, I was greeted with warm smiles and open hearts. The hosts were kind, thoughtful, and made sure I felt right at home. Their friendliness and generosity is something that I will always remember and cherish. This homestay is like a quiet corner in a painting. To one side, you can see the tall and majestic Annapurna, Fishtail, and Manaslu mountains. On the other, you can look out over a sea of green hills, dotted with bright little villages that twinkle like stars at night. Being able to spend time with the local people was a special treat. I got to join them in daily tasks like gathering leaves for their animals, cooking yummy local food, and even making homemade yogurt. It felt more like a fun day out with friends, rather than work. The homestay organized fun trips to a nearby waterfall and river, as well as tours around the village. We also had lots of fun engaging with the kids of the village. What I loved most about the homestay is the family that runs it. They are so warm and welcoming, it feels like you've known them for ages. Their three-bedroom house is comfy and cozy. Barang Village Homestays is a lovely place to take a break and experience the simple beauty of everyday life. I'm so grateful for the time I spent there and the wonderful memories I made. The owners are kind and warm, they helped me find my earphones back I’m so thankful to them. The room is clean and tidy, outside the room there’s a balcony with beautiful view! Also , the location of guest house is a little away from the road, which makes it quiet and I had very good sleep

I loved this stay — it was very comfortable with a beautiful garden and a great view! On top of that, the staff were very kind, especially the hotel manager, with whom we had some nice conversations and who was incredibly helpful. We really enjoyed our stay at Harry's fantastic little atmospheric, peaceful place. Harry, and his lovely family, welcomes you with open arms, the minut you enter the entryway to the hotel, and you immediately feel thay you are in a special place, peaceful and filled with flowers. It has been a really amazing stay here, and we will definitely come back, next time visiting Pokhara. The beds are amazing (specially after a long trek), and there is the best shower, hot water and nice clean sheets and towels.

If you are looking to escape the busy and noisy Pokhara and are keen to try the homestay experience this is the place to be! The whole family is extremely caring of guests and makes a huge effort in providing all they need - home grown organic food. Kabi is also happy to share personal stories. Bonus point is also the opportunity to experience life in a Nepalese village.

The most wholesome experience I’ve had in Nepal and actually ever during travelling! If you want to experience Nepali culture and local life look no further! Such a lovely family who takes you into their home in this little village up in the hills. We cooked together (always vegetarian btw), got a village tour, learned a lot about rural agriculture, tried on traditional Nepali dresses, hiked to a waterfall and swam in the river. The price per night included accomodation, all the meals & activities.

Staying in Barang with Kabi's family was the highlight of our 4 weeks in Nepal. Ama and Baba were so welcoming, and they showed us so much about village life in Nepal. We were invited to help with cooking and farmwork, so we learned alot. Our favourite part was sitting in the kitchen to have meals together (by the way, all meals are included). We will always cherish our memories of Barang and can't wait to visit again one day.

Amazing place, with wonderful and hospitable people. If you want to feel the real atmosphere of a Nepalese village, you have to come here. They organize various activities on site that will allow you to get to know rulal life even better. The best food, wonderful experience, highly recommended.

Regardless of poor weather and visibility, the place had its own charm. The location is perfect - you can either stay in and relish the beauty of ordinary, or pack your day bag and hike to nearby villages and dive into the lure of hilly terrain. The staffs are friends and I must say, I found a family in them. I loved Annapurna Eco Village for its simplicity and calmness. I highly recommend it for those who are looking to get away from their city life and experience the village glamour that comes with comfort.

Lovely Family managing this Homestay in sedi Village, a quieter Part of Pokhara Just behind Lakeside. Beautiful Views on the Lake and some Grasslands. They really make you feel at home there with a very positive Attitude. Stay away from this crowded places at lakeside and rather stay here!
