It is a charming, lovingly refurbished and decorated flat that seems transported directly from the English countryside. Although the house is on the main road, the studio is at the back of the building and very quiet. You can walk to the city centre, but it takes time, so it is better to go by car.

The kitchen area was so well done with efficiency and charm. There were cereal and coffee choices, lovely bread for toast with choices of condiments. We could have searched for eggs in the henhouse or picked veggies from the garden. I loved that the Schoolhouse was a lovely red and the interior red door had a chalkboard with the name. We loved driving the country roads to get there.

    Location was excellent - villa was heated on arrival, lovely touches with fresh flowers in the kitchen and breakfast foods and plenty of 'extras' to use for cooking. Quiet and comfortable. Excellent communication from host. Enjoyed the garden too.
