Well placed to visit National Park and Ohakune. We enjoyed cycling and walking. Very clean. We had one lovely bedroom and shared the lounge and eating area with another couple which was great fun. Plenty of space in the shared part of the property. Breakfast was great. Met the hosts Ron and Allison on the last night and they are lovely friendly people.

The house is amazing from the drive up past the pond to the highland cattle the view and the lodge itself. The structure and architecture of it is stunning. The owners were very kind and helpful ohhh we loved the jam and crumpets wow. Actually had to buy some more jam was that nice. Thank you so much we loved it.

The house was perfectly set up for our stay and the jacuzzi was so refreshing after the day's hike. Idyllic location, would have loved to stay longer.

Lovely and welcoming warm room, very clean and well kept. The bed was very comfortable and included a heated blanket if desired. Breakfast offering was lovely, especially the granola.

The property is in a stunning location with beautiful views. The house itself was clean, tidy, and very comfortable. We stayed during winter, and it was warm and cosy thanks to the heat pump, electric blankets, and even an extra heater provided by the host. The host was extremely accommodating and kindly allowed us to check in early. The photos really don’t do the place justice - it’s even better in person. A 10/10 stay! Our whole group agreed we’d happily stay here again.
